Well, we have all been watching his prices increase slightly over the last little while, but to add to the fire. He is now charging $5.50 for shipping to Canada..
I have bought quite a few items from him over time, but I may have to start looking for another source.

Only time I may buy from him is during an Ebay flash sale. Otherwise I am starting to find cheaper options from others, like showzstore.

Hoodlum for example, his price is higher and he wants an extra $5.50 on top.

 

As far as I can tell at $86.99 shipped ($81.99 shipped for those who get his $5 off $70 discount) he's got the cheapest price on Ebay. It's still cheaper than the standard NA based retailers when you factor in shipping.
The only seller cheaper than Baba is ShowZ's website for $79.99. As mentioned baba's offer is sweetened further with a flash sale. I predict Baba will VERY busy processing Hoodlum orders during the next flash sale.

 

Add the freight charge if $5.50 now eliminates the $5 off $70 or more. So this I null and void.
I noticed the usa still gets free shipping, so why do we have to pay more. It is shipped the same way no matter which country is receiving it.

The flash sale is the only positive thing, but the flash sale works for all sellers.

Also noticing that he is raising his prices on higher demand items, in the Hope's of getting a little extra dough if a flash sale suddenly appears.

So I see the $5 off discount when I go to My Chart but when I go to “go checkout”, the discount disappears? Doing this on my app/phone.

But if I do it off the website, the discount shows through Checkout.... but can’t use today’s 15% off app...

Go ahead and buy. After that PM baba through that item's listing in your purchase history. Let him know you are a long time customer but you didn't get the $5 off when you purchased in the Ebay app. Ask him if he can give you a $5 refund once he ships the item. That's how I've done it. For some reason the $5 discount won't work in the app this time.

 

I have bought many new transformers through this seller and he's been great.

Just recently ordered Zeta Superion and it came well boxed and fast.

 

I ordered FT-17 Hoodlum from him during yesterday's Ebay 15% off flash sale. This morning when I woke up, the tracking number was already assigned is active according to USPS.com tracking. I placed my order around 11AM EST on Tuesday (yesterday). By 5:30AM-6:00AM EST today he has dropped the package off at his local PO and it is moving through the system. The tracking is active.
If baba sticks to a shipping schedule, that means the best time to order from him is Tuesdays during the day (EST time) so that he will ship our order out the very next day. He's got to have at least one more more day that he ships.

 

I went ahead and placed my purchase around 9:30pm (EST time) yesterday. But no tracking yet nor any reply back regarding the $5 refund requested per your suggestion. I included the statement you mentioned in the message box when placed the order. First time I order from him. Should I follow up?

Is he pretty good on providing tracking info quickly?
