Hi a bidder just won one of my auctions then emails me saying to please send it to his new address not register with his eBay account. If I send it and he makes a claim he never got it. Then I won't be covered correct? He can file a dispute and get the money back since my tracking will be to his new address not on his eBay account. So what should I do? Just refund him? Both his address is in AZ.

This is more something you would want to check on Ebay for. However, I would suggest only going through first party services to send the content.

Tell him to update his address. Why is this even an issue?

Thanks yes I will do this. His feedback now is only 2. I will refund him if he does not reply back next week. I emailed him 3 times already in 3 days. No reply back. Thanks again for everyone's help. I will tell him to update his info on eBay.

It also could be someone buying something for someone as a present and they don't want it shipped to their address but they wouldn't need to change their address because it's a one time thing.

I wouldn't send it to another address. The way ebay sides with buyers 99% of the time, it's better to be safe.

I had a lady try tell me to ship to her grandson in another address. I told her no and she cussed me out. I refunded her and told her go away
