Can you elaborate on how this is extortion? The last time I remember bidding on eBay, there was no gun to my head and no one forced me to pay a given price. Have I overpaid for an item I really wanted? Yes... and I will do it again I'm sure. If I am happy with the item I receive, and I'm ok with the price being asked... nobody is getting screwed in the end. The only person who can get screwed is the seller. If he keeps posting over priced auctions, he's paying eBay listing fees/etc. to be a dumb-ass. If I wanted to post my junker G1 Wheelie for $1,000,000... that is my right. Would I expect someone to buy it for that price? No? But who knows... maybe I get lucky. I'm pretty sure there are no buyers out there who are being forced against their will to buy Transformers items on eBay.
