I'm thinking of pre-ordering a figure on eBay and was wondering how safe it is. Also are there any issues I need to take into consideration?

You can easily get screwed over their time limit policies, I think. I certainly would never make a preorder via eBay, whether their policy says it's okay or not.

not the safest place to pre-order anything. Ebay sellers with preorders are suppose to have the item instock and deliver the item within 30 days of the listing. Paypal, I believe only covers the buyer for 45 days, after that your SOL. You take a risk that you will never receive the item and lose your money, especially if it's and overseas seller who gives you the "it's being shipped out/ no tracking provided" bs.

Ok. That helps a lot. I've always thought it was risky and now I still do.
