Surely a tfw member wouldn’t jack up the prices & nullify any coupon savings, right? Surely they would rather have the iron will to resist the urges and not charge ~$50 more for figures that were on sale during the recent BF/CM sales.
 

 

Why would someone reduce their prices to match a very limited sale that was at one or two stores that was two weeks ago?

10% is cool when there's something you're itching to buy and hey, here's a bonus 10% off the price! But it's not SO good to put you over the edge to buy something you're not really planning on getting.

I agree, though, I think 20% is mostly a thing of the past. At least I wouldn't put off buying something I wanted in anticipation of getting it with the next 20% off sale.

 

I picked up the Wei Jiang SS Optimus Prime OS for $47 ... is that a deal? I have no idea about KO stuff so I have my fingers crossed but thought for $40+ it was worth the plunge into unknown territory ... I bought the MPP-10 Voyager Masterpiece Optimus awhile back off someone and was unimpressed ... hopefully this fig is better? Would love to hear ppl's thoughts, thx!

Since I've missed or passed on the other sales I decided to bite. Nothing TF related I wanted so I knocked off a bit of Christmas shopping. Yeah, I remember when the site didn't offer sales or discounts.

 

I just bought a vacuum cleaner for my house this time around. I wanted to get FT Hydra but I'll just wait to see if there is any other flash sales before Christmas since most seller don't have him in stock yet

Dipping my toes into the MFT waters with the Dinobots (sans "Slurge") and Cyclonus. I was eyeing the S1 Seekers as well, but I want a sense of MFT feel/aesthetic in-hand before i throw anymore money in their coffers.

Opted to buy the Generation Toy Megatron. Didn't use this code though, had a Paypal credit offer for $20 off that worked out the better deal. Too bad I couldn't use both.

 

So I got the PayPal offer that some of you got (mine is only $5 off $15 though). I activated it and see it in my PayPal "wallet". Went to eBay to buy something over $15 and used PayPal at checkout. Transaction done but $5 was not taken off by PayPal. Is there something else I needed to do?

 

I kept it light this sale.... just went with Fanstoys Six Shot and the takara legends Octane. How long do you guys think it will be for Fanstoys lupus and phoenix to get re released? the money people want on ebay for those things is crazy even with flash sales
