I got a good laugh at that Prime price too.

Heh heh...that bottle opener box has instructions on how to transform it.

    Anybody got good eBay laughs?

what really makes me laugh is when people get figures before the "official release" and think they can charge 10x what they will be retail.

On the subject of auctions that make me laugh . . .

This is a good one: VERY RARE FORTRESS MAXIMUS C-114 Transformers JAPAN

Now, you might ask: "What's so funny about that? It looks like an average price for a Jap. Fort Max." Well, don't skip the item description:

A delicately small thread appears in the box, but there is not the big damage.
The main body, as can be seen.
That is colored such molding from the cause; is yellow, and is burnt to drink it.
The large-sized gangway, the big things and small things head are attached, too, but burn that place, and it is a gossan. A gun barrel of the waists is only one of them.
The master star of the kiss ancient times(?) If I am similar and I drop and think it to be buried MAXIMUS grade…Hey, are you funny?

After it makes a successful bid, I want to maintain the commodity it is possible to being able to do. Please trust.
Sending out also : safety about the accident because it will completely pack it with Eapakkin.

I'm not sure what translator was used, but the results are quite funny.

LOL I'd love to have that translator. I havent laughed that hard in a while. It makes the big laugh when I read the description of the gossan, not to drink the yellow because of the burnt. ;)

Even if Fortmax was sold cheap, I'd be extremely hesitant to buy from a seller with mastery of Engrish. If anything's wrong with the toy and you need to open a dispute, the results would be catastrophic. The seller could get away scot-free simply because no one can understand him. (Hmm, that gives me an idea...)

BTW, how on Earth did Fortmax get that yellow? Was he left in a sun bed for the past twenty years?

What also makes it really sketchy is he appears to be duplicating Japanese auctions from this seller:
    http://openuser.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/user/yzrfk?alocale=0jp&mode=1
If it is the same guy, presumably either the US auction or the Japanese action is going to be ended early with bids canceled. So a bidder gets screwed no matter what if that's the case. If it's not the same guy, then the Ebay user is a scammer. Bleh.

Good thing I checked, I was thinking about bidding on that (hey, taking a can of spray paint to a Fortress Maximus would be the coolest thing ever!) but that's gotta be fake then.
