    Since Thrust has hit the eastern seaboard now and is in general "behaving" just like the SW/TC set did for its first few weeks, I don't believe the container ship problem was involved at all.

    We're usually really bad too. Still haven't seen wave 2 or 3 of Earthrise. Somehow 3 of the local 6 got Thrust. I checked two only got one (looking for friends syill)

    There was a limited stock at a target in my town but I was already at work and I even got told I could take a quick lunch and run over and get it once I finish what I was doing and by the time I did they were already sold out...

    I’m not in Nashville but hoping they quickly show up elsewhere in the state soon!

    Also of interest is my pre order on target.com has gone to “estimated on 1/12” instead of back ordered.

    A local friend found me one. You have no idea how happy I was to cancel my pre-order and tell them I bought it somewhere else. (I mean, it was still Target, but it was nice to verbalize it.) I had just reauthorized for the 12th. Gosh, I hate their pre-order system. They suck at this and should stop trying to emulate Walmart with being a garbage .com retailer.

    IIRC they used to use Amazon to fulfill their orders in 2000s. Seems like they still haven't gotten their act together.

    I haven’t read through this entire thread, so, I don’t know if it’s been found before, but I found an assembly error on my Thrust this morning. Fortunately I bought two this morning and the second one is fine...was hoping to be able to help out a fellow board member...bummed.

    Anyway, they used two left “wing connectors” (the oblong parts that connect the wings to the rotation joints that attach to the fuselage). The correct one is shown circled in green and the wrong one is shown circled in red. The wrong one makes the wing sit too low and all fucked up and wopperjawed. I waffled on buying two in the store...glad I picked up that extra one now. WTF is up with the QC issues on these seekers??

    2.) Cutting costs
    3.) Rushing

    That said, I'd say he feels the most sturdy/best of the three Coneheads. The Amazon set feels like a KO compared to this dude.

    Popfindr and Target showed "limited stock" at a local store, ended up seeing 5 on the shelf instead. Happy times!


    That's been MSRP for voyagers for a few years. Thankfully they're not going up at the moment.
