Got soundbarrier yesterday, today this happened, fucking pathetic. Just came right off, all I was doing was unpegging the feet from ramp mode. As you can see the other side isn't looking great either! Bonus hoverboard picture because that's all he's good for now.
Not as excited about these guys as I was Siege’s Battlemasters, but he doesn’t look bad at all. But with a name like Soundbarrier, this guy should have been a Decepticon.
I’d like to see Soundbarrier repainted into Ramp. Ramp - Transformers Wiki Ramp has no known appearance so he can look like anything. I think ramp called Ramp would be amusing.
If the hinge was on the bottom of the ramp, closer to the robot torso, it would be a more effective, flatter ramp. As it stands, I may get him because it looks like a cool hoverboard/drone thing. I will, however, keep in mind @Fort Max ‘s QC luckout. Seriously, that’s really crappy QC, I feel for ya.
But how would it fold up the? If the hinge was under the road, the road would fold down..... and need to go over the front of the robot!
No he just means have the hinge on the other side of the piece it's connecting. The round part of the hinge would then protrude into soundbarriers back.
This is the stupidest toy I’ve ever seen in my life. I’m in awe that anyone actually purchased it. He’s not even a functional ramp. The hinge makes it so nothing can drive smoothly over him. He had one job!
Happened to two of the copies I grabbed. I think it was because they were pinned on a bad angle. The thing was not square in shield mode.
Filed down some of the corners of the upper thighs on my Soundbarrier to help with clearance of that hinge. Don't know if trying to move the legs forward would cause stress on the leg ball-peg with those corners pressing against the hinge but didn't want to risk it since it is made of clear plastic...
Much better than the targetmasters. Targets have blast effect, gun, robot. Blast effect is the only good thing, robot is rubbish and gun is decent at best. Now with Rampmasters you get blast effect, shield, robot and ramp. Blast effect is always great, robot still is rubbish, but has a good to great shield, and the ramp adds more playability than the gun. I am in awe everyone’s not buying several at a time! These guys just have more going for them. I understand some might just not like them but technically they are better.
