I preordered the Prowl/Ironhide set last night off of Amazon. Cut it pretty close. No shipping notice, but it says it'll arrive on 11/9, although I expect this Tuesday because of how close I am to the nearest Amazon warehouse.

And to be fair, some people are just now jumping into Earthrise especially after seeing the 86 stuff that's coming. I'm one of them.

Ironhide/Prowl are due tomorrow (along with Runamuck and Fasttrack). I had a 2nd Ironhide/Prowl set preordered but cancelled it last week. Hopefully the set I ordered doesn’t suck!

After last time, I’m gonna be tense until I have the figures in hand and there are no QC issues. And mine hasn’t even shipped yet.

Got my set in today! Head swap on prowl was pretty easy, it's tight but everything still works. The earthrise head on the siege body is definitely too loose though, odd how minor of a size difference it is. The side panels on ER Ironhide are also so much better than on Siege Ironhide

Just opened my two-pack to find ironhide missing his shield right out of the package. Anyone else having the same?

My Prowl/Ironhide pack came today. Stickered for shipping - no shipper box or envelope. With some patience I was able to peel the labels off completely and the box is a keeper.

The difference in red plastic from Siege Ironhide is striking, but not in a good way. He looks milky. Overall, the changes to bring Ironhide from Cybertronian to Earth modes are just OK for me. I don't feel any nostalgic satisfaction with him in hand. The Earth mode is unfinished with the feet on the back so there's room for improvement. I expect to see another iteration of Ironhide and Ratchet in the next three years as the designs are improved again for more cartoon accuracy and more semblance to the G1 toy's sled mode.

Prowl on the other hand is perfect for me. The new Datsun brothers give me everything I've ever wanted in updates for these characters, though more accessories would certainly be appreciated. I'm sure the fan concerned about certain details would suggest improvements, but this is 99.99% the Prowl I've always wanted...until there's a better version at a Voyager price point, which seems to me like a good next step for the Datsun triplets.

I ordered the Prowl/ironhide set on Amazon the day it became available and for me it always show a 12/1 ship date. I'm in Atlanta and everyone seems to be getting their set early.

Does the plastic feel cheaper compared to Siege on Ironhide?

Just got the e-mail notice that mine has shipped and should arrive tomorrow...

Really hoping the box doesn't get ruined by stickers or damaged by crappy deliver people, as they'll be staying in their box since I'm not opening any of the remade from Siege characters for now.

I’m around Atlanta too and I’m in the same boat. Probably a regional thing. I’m sure we’ll get our sets eventually.

    Yeah...I saw that.

Bad enough I hate the parts-forming...but now the part might not even be there?

    Ugh...:banghead:
