If you're looking for some more information about the Seeker Elite 2-Pack this video from the guy who runs Toy Snowman is worth a watch.

 

They even limited 1 per customer. And they said any multiples, All orders will be cancelled.

 

Does he touch on why mine was “out for delivery” from Amazon then never showed up???

I am so f’n mad at myself for missing on this again ! I literally check this forum many times a day, of course for my daily TF news in general, leaks and whatnot. But also if any news of rerelease for the two holes in my collection. Those coneheads and Runabout. Went for my first vacation in like 2 years with the family, so of course I’m not messing on my phone. And then imagine my pain this morning in my hotel room when I saw this thread and realized I just missed them by maybe a few hours....Oh well, I’m mad, but that won’t ruin my vacation lol.

Wish I’ll get another shot because I swear I won’t crack and buy at crazy scalper price on ebay.

 

Good god....that poor guy! 

 

Stuff like this is why I'd prefer to support small guys, but making the most of a hobby budget often means going to big box retailers over and over for lower prices for many, if not just their exclusives.

Still, if this guy was in the states, I'd seriously consider moving my business to him. He seems honest enough to say he can't get something and not string you along to where it's OOS elsewhere.

 

Was reading comments from cybertron.ca and someone said how these Canadian retail got stock the short story may either get you confused, or blow a gasket.

 

I was totally joking. Just still salty about how that went down, never had that happen before with Amazon.

Holy shit that story is so deranged, why would Amazon Canada straight up deny stock of an item they had pre-orders for??? For what purpose????

 

Hasbro need to really re-release them...

 

By the time Ironhide shows up again in ANY deluxe G1-looking form like these, my son will have moved on from toys.

But after messaging everybody and saying "sorry, this item has been cancelled", calling back a couple of days later and going "eheh, we screwed up. Now it's uncancelled", they just wash their hands of the whole deal, and in theory, it just looks like they got short shrift from the vendor, rather than having to look incompetent. Of course, then this story gets out anyways, and...

 

Man. I missed out on this whole thing.

 

While I'm disappointed about not being able to do this (too many things on pre-order right now, not to mention HasLab. And ridiculous shipping rates to go to the US), honestly, at this point I'm just over the hunt. I'd like to have the Coneheads, but I don't care this much about them. I'm just banking on an inevitable Hasbro re-release through EE and/or BBTS like what's happened with the Refraktor Reconnaissance team and the Cybertronian Villain packs.

 

So, Amazon Canada refused the shipment (which makes me wonder about the US branch...) and CMD is under the impression that they might (*might*) be able to obtain more from EE thus giving the impression that EE might be getting these in. I'm guessing Hasbro produced a lot more of these things than we were led to believe and they've just been sitting somewhere waiting out a clock for release to other retailers willing to take on the effort and cost.

That's a ridiculous way to handle business. Shame on Amazon. I blamed Hasbro for producing too little and I see now that I was wrong because it was Amazon's fault. I'll own it, I was wrong. Screw Amazon.

EDIT: Makes you wonder about the Ratchet and Ironhide 2-Packs...
