Still not shipped nor is it canceled. It's like my pack is in the Judeo Christian land of unbaptized babies and those born before the first coming of Christ. AKA limbo.

Ok, as promised, an update on the survey I posted here a couple days ago. Unfortunately my student license for Tableau turned out to be expired, so I wasn't able to create the charts I wanted that would correlate different variables, but I'll share a CSV file of the data here (cleaned a little bit to allow for easier analysis) in case there's anyone here with more data analysis experience and tools who wants to take a crack at it.

Basically, I found that about 30% of preorders were filled on or around the initial expected date of arrival, with about 36% getting delayed to a later date, 18% getting delayed indefinitely right away, and 12% getting cancelled right away (there were a couple 'Other' answers so percents won't all add up to 100). Of those that were delayed to a specific date, only about 7% arrived on the second expected date of arrival, with more than half getting delayed a second time (27% to a later specific date and 36% indefinitely). Only one person said their order was cancelled at this point. For those whose orders were delayed a second time or were delayed indefinitely initially, a vast majority (84%) are still delayed indefinitely, but 9% did arrive and none were reported as cancelled. Of course, given the fairly small sample size (75 responses) this might not mean a lot, but it does feel somewhat encouraging to me that cancellations for delayed orders haven't been quite as common as I'd been thinking based on posts here.

 

Survival bias? Makes sense as the people who got it wouldn't have any reason to add their voices to those who didn't get them aside from support. I stopped really posting in the thread after I got mine and only saw the survey link by chance when I was seeing what was new in this Threadsville.

Granted, I doubt that'll work, and I probably missed the boat. Worth a try still.

 

That's great news! Maybe we are just more "online" to voice the complaints of cancellations hence we get more feedback now.

 

Just got charged for Ironhide and Prowl, amazon app says they should be here Sunday, not shipped yet but this is a really good sign.

 

Well how about that, it really did arrive today.

 

Upgraded Ironhide with a couple of kits.

Wheels look much better but don't roll (not that important for me)

Doors look decent. Color is off but considering Ironhide is already a red and a maroon, it doesn't matter. Profile of the van is much better. Stability in robot mode takes a hit though.

 

Well I gotta ask again since some people are still getting their Prowl/Ironhide packs in lol. If anyone has a Prowl they're willing to part with, please pm me. I really want that guy but have no interest in Ironhide

 

If anyone has a an extra Prowl/Ironhide set to sell I would appreciate it. The courier service I hired to preorder this and the Paradron Medics to Peru screwed me over.

I just got an email that my order (indefinitely delayed with no arrival date since late the beginning of the month) has been given a new expected arrival date of January 2, so that seems potentially encouraging.

Same. Mine still says they'll email me when they have an estimated shipping date. Keep reporting your updates, everyone. I'll do the same if mine does.

 

I think mine has been set as "Order Received" at the beginning of the December. They pushed mine back from November 3rd to December 4th prior to to that.

 

I just want to give folks who are in preorder limbo a little hope for Ironhide/Prowl. I was delayed several weeks the first time, then indefinitely the second time. Then a Christmas miracle happened. I just got a shipping notice from Amazon that my set will arrive Wednesday.
