    Thanks. Does Tamiya Topcoat play nice with that, or will I have to get something specific for it?

    Actually, yes it does. I use the lusterless sealant and it works to tone down the glossyness.

    I made it using an old Robot Masters OS KO someone gave me, and added a 5mm peg.

    The WIP thread in the original post is as far as I have for a tutorial. I didn't take pics of the tandem in process, which is basically just the legs from Clasics Optimus modified.
