galaxy upgrade optimus primes head fits on earthrise primes balljoint with no trouble. however for transformation it has to be positioned in very specific ways because it is slightly wider and the antenna slightly longer. the rounded bits at the base of the antenna are a bit too wide, so you have to turn the head sideways. the antenna are also a bit longer, so when going to vehicle mode you have to aim the antenna towards a corner of the empty space. once the head in inside the cab make sure the face is facing the front of prime and tilt it back. do all this while the chest is open for transformation and its a lot easier. with the head in that position the cab can completely close up just fine. and reverse for going to bot mode

 

I guess people can get yellows eyes after all

 

yep, just requires buying a 2nd leader class figure   fortunately he should start dropping in price now that earthrise is out

Yeah, I was gonna do the same but I decided to overhaul my siege prime with yellow eyes and other new deco stuff and ER Prime will be my classic prime.

 

fair, i just couldnt stand the blue eyes on blue face they went with for er prime. blue eyes on grey face (like siege voyager) or yellow eyes on blue face (galaxy upgrade) or even yellow eyes on grey face would have worked better, but they went with the worst color combo that cause the eyes to just kind of not be super visible

 

I wanted blue eyes until i noticed what they did so i agree with you

 

the stock head is also the exact same as the siege voyager, so if you want blue eyes id recommend a head swap with that figure

That Magnus-Prime's head is little bit different from Siege Prime and I think it looks great on Earthrise Prime.


Definitely gonna be on the look for Galaxy Prime at a good price now.

oh my brother, how right you are !!!! I have a manageable and very suppressed version of OCD especially when it comes to color combinations...occasionally it will wake from its dormant state - so what Hasbro did, makes me die inside every. single. day.

 

I feel ya on that one, I don’t really have ocd on any level, but that color combo they used just was so poorly executed that it’s sad

I think things like this frickin' gave me OCD - also the anxiety of looking on Amazon every day hoping that Skywarp will come back or reading that people are getting discounted transformers at walmart. I then go to 3 walmarts in my area and nothing. I must have gone to 4 different Targets , 5 times each, looking for discounted rainmakers -whats wrong with me ? Lol.

 

I don’t blame you for wanting discounts, I got most of wave 1 discounted on amazon thanks to various rewards points and courtesy credits, the desire to hunt them
Locally is strong but waiting for the cheaper prices is stronger
