The new one looks so good, but seeing him next to the collectors club version really makes me wish he had a bit more color.

I don't mind it myself. It helps that the two Run bros are colored well even if they all are just two colors. White isn't a super common Decepticon color so Runamuck's inclusion as part of the faction, all white, is pretty striking.

 

Great shot. The old TFCC Runamuck/Runabout (Over Run) figures were great for what they were back in the day.

But to my eye, they have been decisively replaced by their WFC counterparts. It's no contest.

With that said, I can't unsee Runamuck's Voldemort crotch. Seriously Quirinus Quirrell has nothing on this guy.

 

I really like that this a have another more bulk in his look that either the Siege/ER Datsuns do, and maybe slightly more than Sideswipe. It’s nice seeing these Decepticon car boys have that advantage over the Autobots.

 

Huh. It took me until now to realize Runamuck come with the wrong gun. Runabout comes with both an orange Runabout gun and an orange Runamuck gun, but Runamuck only comes with a black Runabout gun. The gun with the little circular radar thing on the top is meant for Runabout. If you have both, you could strip the paint off of correct gun and give it to Runamouck, as it's cast in the same black plastic.

 

The 'Toon Model Sheet and the Marvel Bio art also swapped the guns so they're kinda both wrong and right at the same time, it really is a bummer Hasbro were so tight as to not give Runamuck both guns too so fans didn't have to jump through the hoop of modding an exclusive toys accessory if they want toy accurate sidearms!

In hand the TFCC car mode is still pretty impressive when comparing the two. No way I'm getting rid old TFCC set but that's just me. I feel like that's saying I'm getting rid of G1 Optimus Prime (or Classics Voyager Optimus Prime) because I got Siege or Earthrise Optimus Prime. They are nice companion pieces to have especially for characters that don't get many releases.

 

Finally got mine. Does anyone else have an issue with their knee joints not being properly molded? Makes it a pita to get into vehicle mode as the tab on the back of the knee isn't lined up.

 

Absolutely 1 of my favs so far and i have his buddy coming this week. So having these 2 guys in my collection is awesome.

 

Well I got the knee issue sorted. Miss molded hinge. Also blinged up the rims

 

Anyone have the wheel on the right foot be loose and keep falling off? If so, how do I fix it? (Other than getting another one).....it pops out when being handled/ transformation/ etc

 

I still can't decide if I want to get these new Battlechargers or not. I'm really happy with the TFCC figures. I guess we'll see if I can get Runabout on Friday when I go out shopping if I bother with Runamuck. I'm not ordering him online and paying the shipping and tax when I'm still on the fence and trying to find Bumblebee & Elita-1 first.

 

If you have the TFCC ones I wouldnt go outta my way or be to worried as thos look bad ass IMO.

 

Got mine today. Seems strange not having runabout with him but love his white color. So un-decepticon like. Which is cool.

It won't help with your postage woes, but I'm an Aussie and there are heaps of Netflix Bumblebees and Elita-1s where I'm at. I have a spare pair of them both - if you were interested and managed to find a Runabout I'd be happy to trade the pair (E1 & Bumblebee) for one Runabout. Getting this guy outside of the US is crazy hard.
The postage will probably be a ***** for both of us though.
