Huh. Unexpected this is. And unfortunate.   Seriously though this is interesting as he was originally rumored to be Walgreens... then the Amazon listings were found outside of the US... then the US listing was found... now he's actually been purchased from Walgreens. Weird.

 

Really disappointing...

 

We go through this each year when it comes to the walgreens exclusives

people act like its impossible to get, or a great tragedy. Walgreens has had the easiest to get retail exclusives when it comes to transformers. Period

Unless you live outside of the States, you have no issue getting them. Every single one of them have been easily obtained off the website, so unless you have to rely on just your local store, you can get it

This isn't Target, the absolute worst store for exclusives, or amazon, which is severely hit or miss (you got to pre-order immediately and grab it fast or else you will not get it) Bluestreak will be easily obtainable, like Dino Thunder White Ranger still is on their website. This isn't Marvel Legends or Black series, the transformers exclusives at walgreens are a cakewalk every year.

 

So like 190+ other countrys?

 

All of these exclusives wouldn't be a problem if they were just all Selects, thus, available on every online store that regularly carries them.

 

I think the main problem people have with Walgreens exclusives is that they are only in the US, which will cause it to be much more expensive and/or hard to order for people who live in other countries

 

Amazon is easier for me... But Walgreen's hasn't been a problem for me at all. Usually their website has plenty available for a good while, and there are numerous store in my area. I thought we might not have a Walgreen's exclusive this year. I wonder if this was a change in plans. Normally these are found well ahead if time in their system. I don't think the exclusives have always been announced though. Ratchet was announced but didn't go live for awhile after it was supposed to.

Maybe no Prime Day exclusive? Maybe Runabout not Thrust?

 

They traditionally show up at ebgames in Canada so they are relatively easy to get up here.

 

That’s terrific news! That means he’ll shelfwarm at EB Games here just like Ratchet and Wreck-Gar did! My ER Datsun Brothers are all but in my hands now! Mwuahahahahah!  

 

I was skipping the ER Datsuns but Bluestreak is my favorite of the bunch and Walgreens exclusives are super easy to get over here. They usually even hit discounts, so if I see him in hand and looks really good I may get him and break my own rule  

 

Is walgreens website usuallh accurate about which stores have them in stock?

I agree with you for the most part, but Target TF exclusives are also easy to get (in the US) if you're willing to wait till after the initial rush. The ER Seeker 2-pack has been available from Target's website for weeks now (heck, there's currently a toy deal on their website where you can get it ~17-25% off!).

 

I have 2 Walgreen's within 10 minutes from me. Plus, these guys shelfwarm. I'll go scouting next weekend.

 

Except they’re not USA only exclusives. Hell, last year I got my Ratchet from hasbro Asia

 

I haven't had luck with walgreens exclusives in the past. Maybe the one near me just sucks. 

 

Guess I'll be stalking the local Walgreens for a while. I'm not far from Louisville, so it's time to start looking!

Walgreens, after an Amazon listing in so many countries including the US????!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

 

I saw this and immediately passed by 2 Walgreens in my area. Nothing. Must be too early in my state. At least I got out the house for a bit since walgreens stays open late. Saw a couple hot chicks too shopping lol...
