I can tell you that i have most assuredly done the same thing after buying any exclusive, especially from Target, Walmart, and Pulse. Mainly the curiosity of just how long it lasted, and to see if people are gonna scream about how fast it sold out if, in actuality, an item was up a long time. Plus I keep checking to let board members and friends know if something is actually still there in case they were tied up and need to hurry to grab something.  

 

I'm hoping that since the listing specifically lists (listed) Bluestreak that he'll actually be what arrives, unlike with how Best Buy lists the price point with a random pic. But time will tell. If it's the wrong figure, I'll either return it or add it to the custom fodder pile.

Ok cool! Yeah definitely doing the same thing! It's been really nice knocking a lot of updates off of my list. ER Deluxe Wave 3 is going to be a really big one for the Season 1 shelf, I'm definitely excited for that! Amazon came through for me with Smokescreen, so I'm done for now with season 2 Autobot updates until KD Warpath drops. Got Bluestreak coming in this week, so next is definitely ER Prowl & Ironhide 2 pack!

Ratchet must not have (or it did and came in stock again)...I got Ratchet last year online on Black Friday (maybe it was actually Thanksgiving day).

 

I’m waiting to see if we’ll get Earth mode versions of Hound, Sideswipe, Mirage, and Red Alert before I buy their Siege versions. Well I caved and got Mirage, but I’ll leave him in his box for now since he’s got that brittle plastic problem and all.

I’m trying to save money so I don’t want to buy them only for new Earth mode versions to come out a few months later as Amazon exclusives or generation selects.

Walgreens typically delivers the correct figure - I've never heard anyone report ordering a Walgreens exclusive from the website and receiving a different figure.

It's only in-store that the system considers them all the same.

I get the feeling this is going to happen. It shows “in stock” at stores that I know have deluxe transformers but out of stock at stores with no transformers on the shelves.

 

Cross-posting from the Earthrise thread, there may be a way to ameliorate the problems some are having with the back end of Bluestreak staying together in car mode, though it's not without risk, I was inspired to try this on my pair of Bluestreaks by @spark crusher's photos documtnting the differences between Smokescreen & 'Streak's shins:

 

I already received my shipping notice from Walgreens and mine is also scheduled for arrival by Saturday. I'm glad that I checked the boards when I did yesterday otherwise I would've missed out.
