Supremely annoying that Hasbro gives such a highly demanded figure to some obscure US only store instead of selling it on their own store. Give it to BBTS for all I care but this really screws over us non-USA fans...
Heck even Walmart of Target would be better, at least they have online shops. I assume Walgreens isn't as big as either of those if they have no such store.

I found a Siege Ratchet of all things....I got him to sell myself. Maybe they’ll order a streak faster now.

 

Does Walgreens really have that much clout in the retail world ? I mean, why not a Bed Bath & Beyond exclusive then? Or a Home Depot exclusive? I mean, so many transformers were construction based that would make more sense. Or a Toyota exclusive where you have to buy your "auto"bot figures with a new vehicle.

At least with Ratchet, there was some logical connection (medic, store where you buy medical supplies), but this makes no sense...

 

I'd love to see BBTS get a real exclusive. Not garbage like clear TF Prime toys. A real exclusive that somebody actually wants.

You know Ratchet wasn't even the first Transformers exclusive at Walgreens, let alone the first Hasbro one, right? Hasbro's been putting exclusives at Walgreens cuz they already have a little toy section, and whoever was on the corporate level in charge of the toy section wanted exclusives, and struck up a relationship with Hasbro to do exclusives back in like 2014. For Transformers specifically, before Ratchet, there was Wreck-Gar, the Cloudraker/Wingspan 2-pack, and Brainstorm.

 

Name a series outside of G1 with Bluestreak in it. Name 5 episodes of G1 where Bluestreak played a critical role. He is neither a main nor core character for Transformers in any realistic capacity. As for making a poll, I don't need to because I don't have some distorted entitlement that makes me think just because a character was introduced in the original line up that I think they are an integral character.

 

All I care about is finding a non broken car roof for my G1 Bluestreak

 

I remember reading on here years ago that the Toy Buyer for Walgreen's was a legit fan, and went out and made the effort to get the exclusives.

I know it's a bummer for out-of-US fans, but like everyone says, it's not like you'd be getting these exclusives somwhere else if they weren't here.
(and Bluestreak seems pretty widely listed at Amazon in many other markets)

 

You know what speaking of exclusives, out of all of the Datsun bros, why make smokescreen the most easily available? Wouldn't it make sense for prowl to be the most easily available?

 

There’s speculation they’re rotating the Datsun bros at regular retail, for instance Prowl was the regular retail release last year, this year it’s Smokescreen and it’s possible Bluestreak will be the next one at retail. It’s not a foolproof logic, but it makes sense so if you don’t collect or can’t get the exclusives at least you get the character.

I know Bluestreak has been a special release both times so far (depending where you are in the world) but I’d also argue because of that he’s had the best version of the Siege & Earthrise mold with a much more premium deco.

Earthrise Smokescreen suffers from unpainted wheels, missing white paint apps around his skirt & unpainted tail lights. These are however all present in the Bluestreak version.

 

Still want a blue Bluestreak Hasbro...

 

So does that mean bluestreak will be the most available mold in kingdom?
