Holy shit dude, that looks amazing!
This is genius.
Are you going to get me to buy this figure?! lol
Fairly major update, I'm most of the way there on sculpt and engineering. I didn't feel like going all out on every coloured detail, but I think I struck a good balance. Goal is to have a final working version by next weekend which I can upload then, but I'm not going to commit to timelines as I'm bad at that.
Anyway, enjoy some more photos
That is looking great! Love the vehicle mode.
That turned out really good
Digging how well the Daytona fits together! This is a sick upgrade!
Wow! That's impressive.
Some of the parts could use a bit of gap filling, and working wheels would be great.
Regardless, it's still pretty fantastic.
The only thing stopping me from wanting to get one is that I don't really want her to have an earth mode. Now if it could be modified into a version of her normal alt mode...! ;D
The colors really help make the upgrade flow naturally with the base figure. It's making me want to pick up an ER/Kingdom Arcee to convert her into this.
This is outstanding!
So cool! Excellent work!
Excellent work. Very creative!
Amazing, should sell this to a 3p company!
Nice work. A shame we never got an official Arcee like this.
I need this set. Guess I'll buy a kingdom arcee for it.
I really like the way the MP version is turning out. (The Earthrise conversion is nice too).
Its really cool how this replaces the car shell and turns it into a functional and transformable car (even if its an 80s mustang ). Seriously though, this matches the comic perfectly. Future kits like this would be cool to see.
Do I see some resin parts on the MP looking one? Looking stellar!
Yooooo, been a minute hasn't it. Holy hell your whirl looks great!
Yeah I've got a mate to try some resin parts for me. The detail is beautiful, I'm considering a mixed FDM resin solution for the final figure. I want it to look as good as possible because since this prototype I've AMPED up the articulation
Edit: in retrospect I probably should have shared this in the original thread
