Got a phone call from my older brother yesterday morning at a quarter before 7, found out my dad had a heart attack. I asked him if he knew any more, if he was ok or if he even made it and he said he doesn't know. The weird thing is I had been trying to get a hold of my brother for the past 3 weeks to no avail, then he calls me out of the blue and tells me my dad had a heart attack, and we dont even know if he's still alive or not. I've got no clue what to even do as I don't even know which state my dad is in or if he's even still in the country. My older brother called from a restricted number so I don't have a number i can even reach him at. So i really feel helpless here.
Only my mom and younger brother. My younger brother doesn't know anymore than I do and my parents are divorced so my mom didn't know till I told her about it.
try to get contact with them in some way. but i think you'll just have to wait till someone calls. this won't be easy. i'll pray for the best.
Oh Damn! I hope you can find a way to check on him. Just sitting there helpless has to be driving you crazy. What the hell was your bro thinking with leaving such little info about something this important? There's got to be a way to find out where he is, someone's got to have some ideas. He's not gonna be easy to find simply for the fact he skipped town in January to avoid paying rent and bills, he has creditors going after him and he owes around $175,000 in credit card debt and it's just getting higher by the month.
that sucks man, sorry to hear it. The phone ringing very early in the morning is hardly ever a good thing. Really sucks that you don't know what's going on and you're just left wondering, that really blows. Hope everything turns out ok. If I owed someone almost $200,000. I think my heart would be stressed out too.
Oh crap. Maybe you can try calling your phone provider and see if they can get the number your brother used, or what area he called from. If you can get ahold of him instead in some way...
Got an email from my older brother saying he'll tell me if he finds out anything new. So I'm still unaware of his current situation.
sorry to hear the news.. it sucks to lose someone you love and fathers day will suck even more.. today is mothersday and my girlfriend is sad cause she can't visit her moms grave so some time soon i'll take her

Pretty much what it amounts to is that my dad is living with him, hence why he won't give a contact number. To be honest my dad might not even have cancer, we're pretty sure it's a scam he came up with so his co-workers would donate money to him to help him, he'd already gotten kicked out the employee's club he was in for stealing money from it's treasury. Then he got lots of donations so he could take more time off work for his "treatment". The entire time I lived with him he never looked sick or anything. Nor did he have any medical documents except for one for his staph infection. So I'm at a total loss as what to feel about him, on one hand he is my father, but on the other hand he DID destroy my family, turn his only children against each other and put my mother into a state of deep, deep debt by using their emergency credit cards until they maxed out then getting new ones in her name WHILE cheating on her. Then after she kicked him out and divorced him he told everyone "she divorced me because I have cancer." THE NERVE!!! Then after I moved in with him he kept hoping a job would open up so I'd take it and he could quit working and live off me, then when he saw no jobs were opening up, he pocketed the rent, which his boss had given him because he claimed he couldn't pay it, packed up and skipped town. Then he proceeded to move in with my brother, who now has his families cell numbers blocked from calling him. So yeah, I'm totally baffled as what to feel about him.
