Transformation was rough, but not the worst I’ve ever done. Wasn’t fun though.

I really want the purple stand, but thats pretty much it. MP-52 looks really good by itself, but if you compare it to other figures, I feel that it loses a bit of its shelf presence.

 

Now if only one of the KO companies would indulge us with the many redecos of this mold that Takara probably won't make.

 

I guess I'm the odd man out. I actually really enjoyed transforming DS-01.

 

Didnt really want to upgrade my seekers but for 75 bucks i might bite on just SS. Hopefully it still comes with all the accessories. Hopefully thats not the release version and the retail copy actually has more detailed colored. like that cockpit the red/white stripe in the wings, decals, vents and shins. I can live with placing my own decals, but dont feel like painting it.. for 50 bucks, id paint it...

If the Red is painted and not just plastic I might be in on this. The head looks nice, I much prefer the non glossy face

 

So what's the main difference between EG-01 Eagle and the other KOs? Is EG-01 up-sized like what they did with Reximus?

 

MP-52 Starscream KO

 

Just got the e-mail asking to pay off the balance for this guy.

Still on the fence whether to go through with it since I already have the official and the other KO. Besides, what would I do with 3 Starscreams?  

 

You're right. There usually aren't any more than two Starscreams at any one time.

 

It’s a known fact that Starscream rarely traveled anywhere without his stunt double. Starscream refused to do his own stunts.

 

I prefer Crimson Wing's size and Takara's sculpt, I pre-ordered Eagle thinking they up-sized him to Crimson Wings' size based on the dimensions from ShowZ's page (9.85"), then a friend pointed out it's probably his shoulder pylon's height so he's still MP-52's size, ended up cancelling the pre-order.

Lol it’s also BMB behind this. That box is identical in style to Deformation starscream . Guess they want both markets’ cash hahahaha.

 

Hmm I might pick this up just for fun to have another pretty good MP Starscream especially if the joints and tolerances are great.

 

The faux cockpit not being frosty is a bummer. Being able to see the vehicle mode cockpit underneath doesn’t look great.

 

I kind of like that look, but I couldn't defend why. Hoping this gets reviewed before I have to commit to my ShowZ pre-order...
