I recently bought E. Sixshot. I remember when he first came out a lot of people said there was something wrong with the torso in the mold when he was repainted. Maybe mold deterioration? Well is there any fix for this?
The Shockblast/Sixshot mold has a design flaw where the torso has no way to lock into the waist. It however is not that bad and dosen't detract from the toy.
It's not that big of a deal. I took out the pin on mine, and coated the plastic with Super glue, let it dry then put it back together. Tightened him up really nice.
I have both and Sixshot is horribly worse. It wobbles and tilts to one side since his left arm is heavier. Shockblast doesn't cause any problems for me. Thanks for the advice Boo, if I have some superglue lying around I might give it a go.
My Sixshot is loose at the waist but it doesn't get on my nerves at all, Shockblast is nice and sturdy though. Good tip Boo!
I got Shockblast and... I find it to a be weak toy. Cool robot, but the alternate modes don't look like anything and are floppy as hell.
My Sixshot was floppy from the start, and now his brother is becoming the same. Such a shame, as I love the mould.
Just be careful with that waist joint on shockblast, it can break easily. The problem seemed to be solved on sixshot though.....
