    Nice! I really really want to see more SG styled G1 reissues - like Optimus and Ultra Magnus (if only to have one more reason to give us a re-issue Diaclone Powered Convoy) :)

    It's the artwork by Alex Milne from the Botcon SG set.

    I'd so like to have this set, but I had to choose the MP Soundwave + cassettes instead. Hopefully they'll be around when I can get a set :)

    They could do multiple heads :D  I'm fine either way though, but you're right, it wouldn't hurt to also get one with the crystal skull :)

    I'm so tired of SG but I did preorder this set....I love Blaster's colors and I can't get enough G1 Cassettes.

    But although there is a different color version that they can apply in SG.

    Not sure what you mean exactly, but SG Ultra Magnus' color scheme was inspired by the original Diaclone Power Convoy colors, which Takara as released as an Ultra Magnus variant years ago, and remains a very much sought after figure. Doing a two for one as an SG figure and a Diaclone homage would be pretty profitable for them since they'd be hitting two target markets instead of just one.

    you mean in the same package? If so then I don't think so - To people who don't collect both diaclone and SG (I suspect that that applies to the majority of them) they'd just have a harder time justifying why they should pay more for something extra that they don't collect.

    Would make much more sense to sell it as two different products (so that they could recoup the loss of releasing a SG toy)
