is that something i can just get at hobby lobby? or do i need to look eslewhere

i have some ball joints and upper arm piece i want to dye silver

 

People use Rit Dye but I don't think silver is a color you can dye. It's best to paint it and clear coat it.

 

i got confused i ment to say purple is that an option?
