    Nice! He looks imposing. DX9 has been heavy on Decepticons; glad they are releasing the Dinobots.

    It's a G1-inspired Snarl. I'd be upset if it didn't look similar to other Snarls.

    Yes, but in terms of engineering and just overall design cues, it seems to be heavily influenced by Fans Toys.

    Yeah, but this is a tiny G1 Legends Snarl. There is only so many engineering solutions to get Snarl from stegosaurus to G1 robot.

    I don't doubt that one bit. However looking at how the dino legs and head halves fold into the bot mode legs, there's definitely some FT influence. Not that that's a bad thing. I think it's cool they've taken inspiration from Sever.

    Methinks you mistake their attempt at achieving a similar end goal to paying homage to FT. Just because FT does something first doesn't mean that following companies are trying to emulate them.

    He looks pretty good. Very true to the original. I know it's accurate to the original figure/sunbow design, but that split between the red torso and the grey legs is super obvious in stegosaurus mode. I like sculpt DX9 did for the face; a grimace or scowl would have worked too, but the neutral expression also works.
