Looks really good. I might bite on this Grimlock just to have a fun little toy to mess around with. Would be nice if Slag looked better but good thing is incentive not to buy the whole set.

Looks fantastic. Hopefully he's in soon. The last 2 are holding up my TCP stash for months now.

Looks pretty great -- can't believe they hid the dino head! Few quibbles though: (1) What's with the mix-and-match of half silver paint, half grey plastic? Looks weird (his arms don't match his legs) and jars a bit with his team mates. (2) No waist swivel (awesome looking ankle tilts though). (3) Wish there was some/more upward movement on the head.

But still, really look forward to this guy. Like Soundwizard, he's been a long time coming!

That was actually my thought at first too, but a google image search disconfirmed it. Solid grey is 'toon accurate, but the half and half is not, unless I'm looking at the wrong pics, which is possible!

After my negative-ninny routine above I should take a moment to reiterate my praise from earlier in this thread about this guy's sculpt (fair's fair) -- the proportions are so spot on! Nothing's misproportionally over-sized (e.g. shoulders, lower feet) or under-sized (e.g. waist, feet); just an incredibly well-balanced figure. Probably the best in this regard of any G1 Grimlock to date.

I'm not sure if this is a first step into a brave new world or sacrilege...

I could be misremembering, but wasn't the head was hidden in the 'toon?

Correct me if I'm wrong but his upper torso in bot mode is upside down in Dino mode so if you put an autobot symbol on his chest in bot mode it'll be upside down on his crotch in dino mode. Thoughts?

Snarl has the same thing. My guess is that this is a test shot and not the finished product. I'm sure that the final release version will have all that gray covered up with the same shiny, tolerance-affecting silver paint as the others. And even if I'm wrong, he looks so damn good that I'm hard-pressed to care.

Yep mine too! have Bumper and Quaker sitting and waiting on the other 2. I got Skyer from another store so he is the only one I actually have in my possession. Hope this means they will be out soon.

OMG he's so cute and tiny!

I might have to get him just for a desk toy even though I don't collect legends scale :)

Yeah. The transformation makes it kind of impossible for the three that are already out.

Luckily I already got Bumper, Quaker and Skyer. But these last two are the reason I still don't have my WIP Seekers or Coneheads.

Looks awesome, and for the record I could care less about waist swivel on ANY figure, it's the most overrated bit of articulation there is. Wrist and ankle tilt is far more important.

Can't wait to complete the team, these are among the best legends figures out there.
