Everything is painted except the knee and the 5 bars on the top of each foot, which are dry rubs

Picked up the new Carry Reissue. I've got the org but always wanted a 2nd for vehicle mide display and in case one breaks.

Ran into an issue with bent pins on the backpack. They're too warped to allow the hinge to move as it should.

Going to contact the store I got it from, but wanted to give everyone a heads up.

Also, if anyone has a suggestion how I can fix it I'd appreciate it!

0_o... I can honestly say I've never seen that before. Not on that, or any figure that I can remember. Wow. Worst experience (and it was easily fixable) was DX9's Mightron and the pin that would fall out of his arm. (All I had to do was knurl the one end and it never fell out again.) So, I guess there is a bit of a track record with pin problems and DX9, but I've never seen one so...wavy. Wow. You could see if you could slide them out and maybe hit 'em with a hammer to flatten them out. If you heated them (not too much) and found a way to flatten them while heated, it might work better. I'm sure it's fixable, though.

    Still. Wow. 0_o

Wow--I have never seen pins bent on BOTH ends like that. I don't even know how that'd happen, yet still be "assembled" through insertion.

Just got the newest re-release of this guy in the mail. !! A word of warning!! :

If you are the type of person who likes to pre-clean surfaces before applying decals (like an autobot symbol) be very careful. I usually use a tissue with a small amount of isopropyl alcohol and just apply a light wipe to clear off any dirt or oils from the factory. I did this on Carry's chest and some of the yellow paint immediately streaked. It's not horrible but if you look closely you can see the scratch/smudge of red peeking through the fire. I promise I didn't press hard either. I have no idea whether this is an issue on older releases.

Yeah, you don't want to wipe a painted surface with isopropyl. It'll lift paint immediately.

Honestly this is the first time I've had that issue in all my years of customizing, whether factory or even my own paint work. Gentle feather touch has never gone wrong for me before.

Mine arrived in yesterday and I have to say I'm very, very pleased with this purchase. He looks great and to echo other reviewers his transformation is pretty easy. Only real issue I had in transformation was his heel spur was really difficult to get out without using a nail filer/eyelash plucker.

And yes, he is also a bit dated and needs to have some more articulation (ab crunch, 90+ bend on arms, need to be slightly taller, etc) but is still very, very solid.

After many recommendations, I finally pulled the trigger and ordered mine yesterday. He looks fantastic and you can't beat him for the price. Anytime I can get a 3P MP-scaled bot for around $100, I'm happy.

I got mine in today. Quick inspection revealed feet are included, Targetmaster is fine, but two wheels in alt-mode do not role as freely as it should. Might fix itself, but not a big gripe. It's a birthday present so have to wait to fully enjoy it. It looks great though.

It looks like they either had defective pins or the wrong size pins and the factory simply forced them until they went in causing them to bend. Looking at the bottom and then the top, the pins are not even all the way through with some of the pins sticking out the bottom and not present at the top.

After somehow not paying any attention to this mold back when it first came out, really happy I picked up this re-release and got to discover what a fun figure this is. He's easily the best Rodimus Prime I've seen.

He looks great in both modes, with solid plastic, great joints, and a clever transformation that's not ridiculously complex & time-consuming (feels like that's a rare thing these days!). And the new colours have a nice metallic sheen even if I still wish he was more magenta, haha.

Also, a heads up: I wanted him to have the biggest Autobot symbol possible in that flames splash on his chest... and there's just enough room for the largest-size symbol on ShowZ's included decal sheet. But if you place it too high, it will get cut off by the canopy in alt mode. It may have taken me two tries and a destroyed decal to realize this. :lol  So place it as close to the bottom of the flames as possible if you still want it to look right in vehicle mode!

How are the pins in your backpack?

As posted above mine are mangled.
