For those of you that have the 2021 reissue in-hand (broken or not) : is the screw super tight to undo to reverse the part? Last thing we need is a screw that strips or the head snaps off while performing the reverse procedure.
Mine wasn't super tight and was relatively easy to remove. I just had to use small needle nose pliers to hold the broken piece so I could unscrew it, but it wasn't too tight or anything. If you have the proper sized screwdriver and don't use too much force you should be fine.
Mine just arrived broken but I tried to flip the screw anyway. Yikes that screw was super tight. Used needle nose pliers to hold the broken end and had to press the mini-screwdriver super hard to minimize stripping. Thought I'd wake up with a bruised palm this morning. Not bruised, but still sore after spending 15 minutes fighting this last night.
So very sorry to hear of ANOTHER customer receiving a broken Capone through no fault of their own. For those of you with the broken peg thats cleanly snapped off - what are you doing in response to this disaster? Are you trying to glue the post back on and hope for the best? Or are you disassembling the section and sending it back to wherever you bought it from and getting them to hold DX9 accountable and request for a brand new part?
I already put in my claim to ShowZ for a replacement part. It should be very easy to get a replacement since it's just Capone's chest piece and not something that would be hard to replace. 3 screws removed and the chest piece comes right off but it's a matter of whether DX9 has extras of that part to send out. If they can't get me a replacement part I will attempt to JB Weld the piece back in place because I don't think superglue will be able to hold long term.
Mine too, wasn’t a big deal. Once I put this guy in full combine, hands down the best 3rd party Menasor. Wish dx9 didn’t go under. Fun to transform.
RoboToyBase have said DX9 are a very good company to deal with. So I hope it will be a simple process of them providing all customers with replacement part + wearing shipping cost too at no expense to customer. There can be no doubt the part assembled back to front is the root cause and I'm hoping they're big enough to admit it and wear all the costs involved to affected customers. Fans hobby are absolutely brilliant when things like this happen. when the first release of Naval Commander (their version of Armada Optimus Prime) was released it was plagued with problems. They gladly and speedily replaced parts to all customers at the companies cost. and for the G2 Stunticon fans, hang in there, I've got a feeling G2 Capone and Dead End will be getting some release info early next year.
I strongly think they will reissue all Stunticons, clearly is cash for the company for molds already created
Well, broken or not I tried to transform Capone last night. Fairly easy transformation that I could figure out on my own with just a couple quick looks at a transformation video to make sure I didn't miss any bits. This is what I ended up with. Capone can almost fit together with the broken screw between the cab and the trailer. But it never looks as good as it does on TV. In the end I got the trailer transformed without breaking the hips! But I can see why folks say those joints are too tight and lots of people broke the trailer when unfolding the legs. I almost got Capone together, but if you look carefully at his waist you can see that the top half isn't fitting down over the bottom half quite right and his back is partially unfolded to even make this happen. Really hope ShowZ can source a replacement chest from Dx9. Perhaps tonight I'll figure out how to unscrew and pull the old chest off so I have a really good photo of what part needs to be replaced.
I should've taken a picture when I had the chest piece off but it's very simple to take off. You just have to remove 3 screws and it'll come right off. I figured i'd label this for everyone, even people who don't have anything broken but want to know what they're looking at.
Haven't ordered a Capone yet. Waiting to see if DX9 makes good with retailers and provides the parts for all retailer stock. Not really in the mood to pay that price for something that arrives broken.

Can you help me please I believe I bought the two kits from you last year and staged the Head and the Shin plates in the box for my order to Ship from ShowZstore. I finally received DX9 Capone yesterday and opened your box and unfortunatley the Pegs were missing for both Henry & Montana Shins to mount on the front of Menasor. See pic. I would pay for shipping. Please help me out fellow collector.
