@Sixo did an unboxing and review of Capone on his website. He confirms his was a (reasonably) recent purchase and it did not include the Beetle.

Still imagining what a psychedelic-trippy-garish-G2-lightning (rainbow?)-bug-beetle-gun would look like with G2 Capone LOL

 

The rumor came from some pre-order pages for Capone many months ago that said the bug gun wasn't coming with it. I don't see that statement made anywhere now, so maybe something changed in the meantime. It was probably just bad info but luckily it looks like that's not the case anymore.

Is anyone here connected to the equivalent of Dallianjj (if there is one) at DX9? The latest news gives hope that original G1 Capone will definitely be getting a reissue in the next few months. So I'm wondering if they're also planning on reissuing any/all of the 4 x G1 car-bots and the 3 x G2 car-bots. Kinda strange we have't any news at all on G2 Dead End.....

Was there an upgrade kit that allowed leg cars to be mounted to shins instead of calves - and if so, could someone point me to it please?

Thanks for sharing this info @icanfly. How do they perform? Do they support cars facing down and up when attached to shins? Looks like the seller isn't making any at the moment (unfortunately).

Can't anyone just model something similar up and give them a go for the DX9 community.  

There something similar in the Junk Pit (but looks much nicer) but he's not selling the kits anymore either.

I will have them available again soon in the future. Just taking a bit of a break. I spent more time printing and selling and no time designing which isn't the fun way round to do things sadly

 

Are these the same ones in the ebay listing? If so that's great news, if they are different what do yours look like?
