Well, it looks like Capone will stand eye to eye with MP-10 and TE-01.
The more I see of that long trailer the more correct it looks.
Don't know about Rising Force, but as recently revealed today, Gravestone is cab only, and the trailer/base/combiner frame is sold separately. So its seems like DX9's is the only one with combiner parts.
Yeah, its still weird that Capone ended up being shorter than Gravestone. One would think since its cab+part of the trailer it would be taller. Like one would have expected Gravestone to be the shortest of the three.
The part of trailer turns into arms, so doesn't add any height to Capone. Again, I think DX9 do it on purpose, because MotorMaster should be same size as Optimus Prime.
Thank goodness FT fixed those faces lol. DX9 is following FT with their old weird faces. Even Atilla has that weird pouting face.
What's even funnier is that the XTB one also manages to be taller than DX9's without incorporating any part of the trailer.
Also manages to have a backpack. I honestly just wish I could take the hands of the XTB and put it on Capone....
I like the XTB one the least although the finish appears to be the best.
Motormaster just shouldn't look that heroic.
How tall is the cab for Capone Vs Gravestone (and Vs Roadking, while we're at it...)?
Narrator: Who says you can’t?
Well, here are some frame of reference pics. From the pics @ibot released of Gravestone, the cab proper seems to be around the same height as mp-44, but then the sleeper adds at least an inch and a half in the back:
And from my collection, here's Road King, Powertrain, MP-01B, and TE-01B:
Again, the main cabs all seem to be around the same height, but Roadking and Powertrain have an additional inch of height from the sleeper.
I actually don't know if MP-44 is the same height as MS-01/TE-01, but I'm presuming so. Unfortunately I could only find pics comparing their heights in bot mode, not cab mode. Nor could I find any current pics comparing Capone to any of the Optimus' in truck mode either. But I'm presuming given how standardized all the other semis have ended up being, DX9's cab will be the same height main cab wise as the rest of them. The front page has a test shot of Capone head to head with MP-10, which is the same size at MP-44, but its also an uncolored test shot, so I have no idea if the prototype changed height between then and the finished product.
Capone also has a big sleeper though:
So I think Road King to the top of the sleeper is the shortest in truck mode, and by my eye Gravestone is the tallest to the sleeper, but not by that much? They're definitely comparable (again, presuming the cab proper is the same scale as MP Optimus)
LOL. That CHUG trash XTB set finally is gonna release their MM and they're selling the trailer that makes Menasor separately. LOLOLOLOL. All these people were accusing DX9 or FT about doing that and it ends up that XTB is pulling the con. The nerve!
It's Chug Trash because it's sold in 2 parts?
Wait till he finds out FT is the same. He'll explode!
No, the Menasor trailer will be coming with the final limb bot with FT. The point is that with XTB you have to make a separate, sixth purchase.
Oh, well that's completely different then! Because I can't possibly cope with spending X amount of money across six payments rather than five.
Thank you, that is just what I was after.
whatever, man. I think what they're doing is lame. Suppose you're one of those folks who only want the XTB set for how they look as cars and have no interest in their gestalt mode. XTB is making you pay for two separate purchases just to make MM look like how he's supposed to look. It's one thing to make a bot just out of the cab, like DX9 did, and another to not include the trailer at all.
its either pay x amount in one purchase or the same amount over 2. only difference is you wait a few months and get more time in between spending that amount.
