I really want to want this, and I may still get it for my MP collection because Salamoore is awesome, but the face isn't quite right, the chest/torso isn't quite right. AND no axe? Wut?

You know FansProject cancelled their custom Wreck-Gar after Hasbro revealed their version. I think DX9 Toys would be wise to do the same. Pass.

Got to agree with this collector ---^ Hasbro for the most part smashed the mold and sealed up any further need for redo's of WG with their release. The after market add-on's which allowed you to customize with different heads and accessories was akin to a victory lap for that figure. No further need for another.

That said Salmoore is pretty nifty and for the most part a solid mold. If you don't have Hasbro's WG or just like trying different 3rd party releases like flavors of ice cream, go for it. However, I'm probably going to pass.

I think the generations are fine. At least with them you can get them at a affordable price. You can get multiple ones.

The blocky chest is more reminiscent of the original G1 toy (I think, I;m going off of old memory here) than the new CHUG figure is. I can see both options having value.

It's just that this version is a whole lot more expensive than the Hasbro version, and a lot of us already have that version so the character could just be checked off.

If I had fewer preorders already lined up I might add this, but collecting has been very busy and looks to remain so for the next year at least. Warbotron, notComputron, Utopia, Pandinus, Fx, fifty different Dinos, wrapping up Feral Rex, the new MMC Fembots...

I think I'd be more likely to buy a GoBot Night Ranger remold.

They could do a new Night Ranger mold, and remold it into Armada Sideways.

Maybe I need to go back at look closely to the Hasbro version one more time but so far, both hasbro generation version and this one does G1 wreck-gar no justice. Too far off unless it is not intended to be so it will be a pass for me.

I was NOT expecting this to even be on my radar, but I've got to hand it to them. Looks fantastic! Bravo, Unique Toys, I will be picking this up for sure (I'm one of those that never cared for the RTS mold).

Hey insiders, tell these guys I'll take two if they're willing to sell them in a buy one get one half off bundle. Then maybe I'll forget about the whole axe thing.

So what size riders (1/12?) could these take and how does he compare to Aranea?
I still haven't found much online - only that Woody one, but he ain't much help.

Crap. It could work in my MP collection... and Hasbro's unlikely to make one. Crap. I might have to get this
