No, you are asking too much, Customs won't do that. They are just doing the inspecting by opening each and every Gabriel box before TCP does

I've finally gotten my replacement chest. It was easy to screw off and installation even easier. However, I'll leave the insignia spot blank for about a week to see how it'll hold out before I decide to either put a label on there or order jream's insignia.

I get my robots from a Dutch retailer. The part took I think like, 2 weeks? to get to him and it was planned to come with the Zeta Swindle.

yeah i watched so many vids and comparisons to the FT Giganticus and just all around IMO Gabriel seems to win for me.

Plus I really love the way he's engineered to not have too much partsforming and the fact you don't need to detach anything to turn on his lights is a bonus for me.

I do have some concerns though in regards to the shoulder and elbow joints. I saw in many vids folks complaining about how weak they are, and how soft the ratcheting is. Is there a way to fix that if that's the case?

I think you got it wrong, the problem with Gabriel's joints is they are too strong, not soft at all. That's why a lot of us need to do:
    1. lubricated the joint
    2. cut part of the spring.

Hmmm that's odd. Now I'm confused. Welp if that's the case then, perhaps I won't have too much to worry about. :)

I wanted to try to see if he's capable of doing the Ironman Pose. XD

I sincerely hope those of you waiting are engabrieled very, very soon - with no QC issues; I can’t stress enough how good this looks in hand and alongside my MP collection.

Same here. I just got the replacement claw from them. Now I'm 100% satisfied with Gabriel.

White lithium and silicone are safe for plastics. Just make sure to read the label of whatever product you're buying. There's also a Gabriel fix/tips thread in the Radicons forum.

lithium is a thicker material. more solid. it wont seep into small places. it will collect dirt dirt and dust and will become gritty over time. its a more difficult to wipe off of a place you dont want it, leaves more of a residue then silicone.

everything that is caustic on some level is bad for plastic in a laboratory. i wouldnt worry about it eating the plastic as much as it not fitting the application as well as other materials

Got my symbol from jream and it is glorious. Just comparing it with the reprolabel I had on hand I am so glad I decided to go with his design. The picture doesn't do it justice of how tiny the other labels would have been. 0518181403_HDR.jpg 0518181402_HDR.jpg

I used P19 silicone ptfe dry spray lubricant for my joints; it is used in plumbing on all types of plastic. The ptfe also guards against corrosion and is a plastic itself. It is a spray and contains some propellants but they are chosen to flash off immediately. The ptfe also offers protection from the propellants.
