Agreed. I don't mind waiting longer for a good product, but I'd at least like to know what the heck is going on.

They have to be on a freight truck riding around in the back of a mp10 somewhere.

I had a thing coming freight disappear one time. A week and a half later we found out the truck had broken down. The stuff sat on the truck while it was fixed.

From what I've heard from someone on here, they are re-routing the US shipments to lube the joints prior to them hitting the stores (but that's just hearsay). One retailer also told me that they don't know when they're getting them in because they haven't been told when they have hit US soil. I think DX9 is trying to do some damage control to fix the US figures before they hit stores here.

If that’s true that’s actually not a bad thing. I’d rather wait a bit and get an acceptable specimen than doing my own fixes for which I know very little about.

Me too. I'm very ... patiently ... waiting to get word from Toy Dojo that they've gotten their stock. I hate waiting, but I'm okay with it if they are actually fixing them.

Well that really sucks. Yea, patience is not one of mine either. It irks me because now we are beyond the 1-3 week timeframe I was quoted on his arrival. Nonetheless, it's not their fault. And I am happy he will be inspected prior to his final destination.

Has anyone that ordered Gabriel from BBTS received it?

That would be quite an achievement since BBTS has not received it. A TRUE ACHIEVEMENT!!!

So looks like Agabyss was the way to go for Gabriel. Stinks that they have him and other US retailers are still struggling to get theirs. Damn

I avoid those to. It's like all of their announcements pertain to things I could care less about. LOFLo_O  :popcorn :tumbleweed:

    Ok, I've fixed the legs.
I cut a 360 degree piece off of the spring.
Make sure the cutted end of the piece is on the leg side, NOT the hip side. Otherwise it might block the turning wheel. And spray the turning wheels with silicone. I had no trouble with the screws.
The legs are good now, maybe a little too loose for some of you guys. You might wanna try cutting half round of spring first. Here are some photos.

Looks like the silicone alone didn't work, huh? Good job, @joopsta! Add it to the list of fixes.

    Nice joopsta!

When I had mine open, I debated cutting the springs a little. I hit the gears with the grease and reassembled with new screws to see if that was good enough, and it seemed to do the trick, so I left the springs alone...but that was definitely the next thing I would do. Good to know the just trim half of what you mentioned.

Glad you didn't have any broken screws. That was definitely the worst part. Everything else was super easy. They really assembled him in quite an ingenious and practical way. He would be awesome to customize if we knew the screws weren't such a bitch on some of the early releases here.

This thing is probably closer to Hawaii than mainland US.

It's probably good that we aren't seeing it yet from other retailers. Maybe there were issues and they had to get another batch. Either that or it's just super slow.

with everything posted on this thread about the first batch of Gabriels released, are you sure Agabys is the way to go? I'll argue the opposite.

How tall is Gaby compared to CW Devy?
