Just got mine this afternoon/evening. At first, I thought I avoided the Cosmic Rust plague. First tire I looked at was his left foot, and it was fine. Then I saw his left shoulder, and it had just a little bit on it. Same for his right foot. His right shoulder, however, was the one that really got hit with it. Thankfully, no where near as bad as octobotimus’, but still needed a good wipe down. I did each one, even the left foot just to be on the safe side.

I got mine, opened him to make sure nothing's missing or broken, but won't have time to really inspect him and mess with him until the weekend.

I didn’t have real chance to check for any loose limbs or QC issues before I left for work, just enough time to wipe off the gunk on the chrome wheels. I’ll do a more thorough check when I get home later this morning.

He showed up today, I can't unfold the handles on either gun. I will have to take them apart I think to get the handle out. Anyone else run into that?

Had a helluva time getting the handle of one out. I’ll get the other one out later, I don’t feel like fucking with it now. :lol

Other than that and the little bit of Cosmic Rust, my figure is ok. No loose joints, solid figure.

Same thing here, nearly impossible to pull em out. Tbh kinda regret wasting my money on this faulty rusted thing.

Wish Showz would actually get back to me on it…..

Edit: Showz got back to me. And just told me to file a aftersales replacement request to contact the factory. So now who knows how many weeks or months it’ll take to fix this garbage….

Well, I finally put mine through the paces and... I have mixed feelings.

I mean, I have issues with it. The number one biggest one is that they made the wheels on his forearms fake and put actual wheels on his legs that don't belong there. Those wheels look out of place in every mode but car mode, and force some other issues like folding the jet nose into his legs instead of outside to make room for a fake jet cockpit on the outside of his legs that's too far forward and makes the jet mode look stubby because the wheels are sitting over his crotch where the cockpit should be. And, I know a lot of people like the wolf mode because of the more realistic legs, but to me they're just less accurate and create their own problems like an inability to fold his feet/toes in for tank and gun mode and having wolf legs draped over the roof of the car. Combine that with some loose joints in the shoulders and wolf paws, a near total inability to hold his accessories in robot mode, and pegs on his guns that are too big for the holes in his wings, and Hanzo's feeling a bit... cheap, I guess. I had a chance to buy Hydra a few months after it released for a very reasonable price, and I'm kind of kicking myself for not picking that up because I think it looks more accurate across the board.

That said... I doubt you could find Hydra for under $300 right now, and I'd rather burn my money than feed the Fans Toys aftermarket bullshit. Hanzo was $80. Even with the issues I have with Hanzo, I definitely got my $80 worth. He'll look decent enough on my Decepticon shelf (even if his shins should have been purple, not black).

Is the black/purple redeco (photo up on ShowZ) based on anything? Both G-Creations and DX9 went with essentially the same deco.

Man knowing I’ll have to wait a month to hear back from Showz on possible replacements or anything is so annoying. The after sales support has gotten so slow….

    Im getting antsy…

Got mine in today and I like him! 3 out of the 4 chrome wheels did have a bit of the stuff on it, all to varying degrees with the right shoulder one having the most and even then it wasn't bad, but a quick and easy wipe down took care of them in like 30 seconds. A bit unfortunate but I'd rather get something "fixed" than not so its no biggie for me. I've only transformed him into the car and jet modes so far but hes pretty cool! Can't wait to mess with him more over the weekend.

Got my Hanzo out of box for the first time today. Overall, the figure looks amazing but I have an extremely loose right elbow to the point where I can’t pose his arm at all. I checked the screws near the elbow and they all seem tight. Is there anything else I can do?

The elbows use friction joints. Mine are loose too- you would need to use some floor polish or super ir to widen the peg.

Gotten mine last 2 weeks and just mess with it. Paint wise is much closer to FT Hydra rather than the green used previously. Its in between green and blue which works fine for me

Joints are tight enough. Those who is having loose shoulder joint, you just need to tighten the screws around those movable shoulder joints. My left shoulder is loose out of the box and upon tighten the screws, it is tight enough and can lift up the shoulder

I find the build quality of this reissue of Hanzo is not as good as the reissue of Blitzwing and Rodimus Primez especially on the chrome blaster and sword. The blaster got chrome flake out of the box but Rodimus chrome part is thick and quality

Other than that, it's a good G1-ish Sixshot

Got mine, he's missing the tip of his middle finger, which I'm oddly okay with, kinda reminds me of Assassin's creed and john wick. Biggest aggravation is one of the back thigh flaps is super loose. Guess I need to take the pin out and dunk it into floor polish.

It's a really good figure. I think I like it a little bit better than Hydra. Win some lose some on the alt modes, less cartoon accurate and less shiny than Hydra but more imposing looking and infinitely more fun to handle and to transform.

They usually dont respond. It just shows up.

My wheels came clean with a clorox wipe. Good as new.

I don't know what goo that was. forgot to taste it. You can tell this was an almost frantic reissue. I had to get pliers and push in a bunch of pins.
