Mold looks great, but both mold and colors seem to be based off Headmasters animation, whereas I'd prefer toy-based. Will wait for a toy-based repaint/possible remold/tweak.
really cannot believe i'm about to type this about a dx9 masterpiece but FUCKING HELL THAT LOOKS GOOD!!! got about a grands worth of pre orders payed up and more to buy and more being teased that i am liking the look of ..... this hobby is becoming hard to keep up with now

Can't dispute anything you wrote here about those two figures. I never bit on their triple changes because they just looked a bit too off. Didn't like the partsforming or train mode on Chigurh and didn't like the plainly visible head or general buttliness of the tank mode on Gewalt. The three figures I got and loved weren't even on my radar till I watched video reviews, got them in hand, and they kicked forty kinds of ass.
I really like how slavish this is to the G1 toon character. Which is a bit strange for DX9 as they usually stray a bit from straight toon accuracy. Let's just hope the alt modes are good as we all know how Gewalts tank mode turned out...
I'd been happy planning to get the Hasbro version, but this is going to be very tempting. DX9 have made some great figures so I'll need to wait for some reviews. Probably will come down to how fun the transformation seems, the Hasbro one looks nice enough if I'm keeping it in bot mode, but if the transformation looks fun I'll probably splash extra out on this. Gewalt has one of my favourite transformations of recent times, so definitely be keeping an eye on this.
It's nice, but I hope they change the teal to more of a green or at least offer another version later on.
i really dont see how theyre going to pull 6 legit modes out of this. however, they chose the right one to make awesome probably pass because i dont have character attachment, but it tempting.
