so what do you think wouldve happened beyond what was released? a summary:

1-bumble goes AWOL after jetfires death.
2-some bots led by jazz work together with humans.
3-predakings on the loose after beating up bruticus. megs is back and has both shockwave and screamer in custody.
4-sky lynx was in still disbale. predaking would have taken him custody.
5-other bots were building autobot city
6-primes back online. quintessons seems to have a plan. probable mole in cybertron.
7-a witwicky's in charge of govt operations for bots surveillance.

feel free to add to above list. what we know from previews of guido's unfinished art:
-human building transforming exo suits.

my take, seems theyre trying to develop both earth/cybertron based plots.

 

1-Humans have Jetfire's remains and try to rebuild him *cough*macromasters*cough*
2-Humans rebuild Superion and Devastator but as mindless drones (like in vol 1)
3-Humans use Superion and Devastator to fend off Predaking
4-Hot Rod get commints suicide with Wheelie, Blur and Gnaw  
5-Shockwave still has the Real Matrix (I think Prime has a silver one at the end of vol 2)
6-Blitzwing gets rebuilt
7-Cyclonus takes back Scourge from the humans
8-Ultra Magnus can't deal with it (tee hee)
9-Arcee is the mole
10-Bumper is evil (and likes to eat humans)

Well that's it (so far) from me

 

My prediction from the last panel in issue 11 (?), is that Six-shot will make his triumphant appearance.

 

I just hope some day we get the end of this story. Maybe through the else worlds comic IDW is talking about.

I don't think you read the same book as I did. Sure there were the odd line from the toon (I know there were lots in Vol2 but they were few and far between in Vol3) and the odd fan wank but the over all story was solid and really felt like this was 'THE' Transfomer universe.

 

i'd very appreciate this thread not tun to 'fanwank vs actual stories' arguments. im more interested in listening what couldve been, and im sure like minded pppl would be interested too.

the bit that i cant put a spin at all, as mentioned above, is what was sunstorm trying to tap into on earth, and how he came into knowledge of it. that. i believe, is the only sub plot/element that was not a retread of previous G1 storylines.

Well anyway, I think the reason why Sunstorm wanted to blow up earth was a last resort to destroy the decepticon matrix...or something. Either way he's a religious nut/hero. Also, the cave thing could have been built by the preds from beasties.

Isn't there some pages from the unpublished issue 11 and 12 floating around the net? I have seen a few by guido so i know there out there. It may have a few answers for you. I think sixshot was about to wreck havok on megatron's crew for the death of blitzwing and handling of shockwave. I felt there was more to the bumper story and hot rod was getting used somehow by the quints. I really would of loved to seen it go to issue 12 with the return of prime but ...maybe it will be picked up one day. I agree with wingwolf THIS was the tf continuity(or atleast to me!) I don't think i would of liked to seen the title after sarricini was supposed to take over writing in issue 13? Mick and patyk really had it going, just wished there was more.

 

I found the story to be pretty interesting despite people complaining that things weren't moving fast enough. I didn't have any problems with the Japanese TFs making cameo appearances or Bumper and Sunstorm and found this to be more interesting then the random episodic stories that the G1 cartoon had.

I really was looking forward to what James and Adam had planned for the rest of the series, especially with what Megatron's ultimate aims were for the Decepticons as well as Cybertron's history pre-Golden Age and the introduction to the Unicronians.

 

In regards to DW, it's just a guess. But in the cartoon the quints started the decepticon matrix rumour to con Galvatron.

Exactly why I love IDW.

 

I prefered Dreamwave. It was good, despite all of the fans who bitch about it, but then don't a lot of fans bitch about IDW too? Don't people bitch about Marvel? Doesn't the word "Fan" just translate to "Bitcher"?

 

Sometimes, the opportunity to bitch is why I spend the three bucks.
