Was it cheaper than $45? I can't imagine a skeleton body with a treasure chest head that has teeth being something I'd pay $45 for, but then I am not into the game of dungeons and dragons and mainly just the toon and figures stuff.

    Update on the IP sale:

A Wizards of the Coast spokesperson provided the following statement to ComicBook.com, refuting the initial report: "We regularly talk to Tencent and enjoy multiple partnerships with them across a number of our IPs. We don't make a habit of commenting on internet rumors, but to be clear: we are not looking to sell our D&D IP. We will keep talking to partners about how we bring the best digital experiences to our fans. We won't comment any further on speculation or rumors about potential M&A or licensing deals."

Hasbro isn't in the business of offloading IP, the entire story started because Roll For Combat posted a video a few weeks ago speculating that Hasbro might start selling rights to their IP (like video game and movie rights), which the initial report did link to.

Hasbro Pulse clearance on 1/12 scale Golden Archive figures:

Displacer Beast $17.91 (54% off) Dungeons & Dragons Golden Archive Displacer Beast – Hasbro Pulse
Xanathar $20.91 (58% off) Dungeons & Dragons Golden Archive Xanathar – Hasbro Pulse

Brown Owlbear $44.99 (still full price) Dungeons & Dragons Golden Archive Owlbear – Hasbro Pulse
White Owlbear $44.99 (still full price) Dungeons & Dragons Golden Archive Owlbear/Doric – Hasbro Pulse

I could swear the Beholder-guy and tentacle-panther haven't been on the clearance listing before. Hasbro has renamed the Clearance Page to Outlet so they sound more classy. Still fun and seems like a decent deal to get these deluxe figures for less than a single figure. I'll have to keep a lookout to see if the Owlbears ever go on clearance. I checked a few times at Target and they were always full-price until they all vanished.

For the white owlbear, Doric, the key was getting her during the Target Black Friday deals. That unique and bulky a figure for $15 ruled.

It’s the same figure but in LJN vintage toy colors which is in demand.
