Huh? That is neither Nick Rekieta, Viva Frei, Robert Barnes, nor Alina Mazeika. Better known as Rekeita Law, Viva and Barnes, and LegalBytes respectively.
Isn't Nick Rekieta banned from Youtube? In any case, I think if you polled lawyers, Devin Stone aka LegalEagle would come in ahead of Rekieta. Most lawyers I know think Rekieta's clients should be suing him and that he's costing his clients the best outcomes through incompetence. I also think Rekieta has a day job as a regional telecom executive and many millions of dollars from that and mostly just practices law for publicity/attention. I should clarify though: I think you're talking about streamers moreso whereas I am talking longform content creators. By subscription numbers, if you added together the sub totals for Legal Bytes, Rekieta, and Viva and Barnes, they'd still have fewer than half the subs Stone has and probably 1/10th the amount of lifetime damages awarded to their clients that he has won in court. (In fairness, I don't think LegalBytes is even a trial lawyer.)
Got the Gelatinous Cube from Pulse today. Put a Mythic Legions Steel Knight with Skeleton head and hands that have been "disolved" inside it Comparison with the Gamestop Exclusive Gelatinous Cube statue
Got my transforming black dice dragon figure in. Very nice. Tad smaller than i pictured, but overall still cool. I might pick up the red dragon. I got a Target coupon that expires soon so i might drop by tomorrow and see if they have any. Might get the owl or eye if they have both.
Saw the kid style black dragon at Walmart. Think its called Rakor. It was $34.97. Tempting but I'd rather hold out for a more posable and scaled dragon.
I’ve seen most…if not all…of the current wave of D&D figures at the last few Target stores I visited. If they haven’t shown up at your local store(s) yet, just give it a little time. Edit: they all appear to be in stock on Pulse as well.
I only have Venger & Dungeon Master so far, I’m pretty sure I’ll get the others but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. All toys I collect (especially Hasbro’s) feel overpriced so I’m nonplussed over the cost of this line. I like them, don’t love them. No QC issues to speak of, knock on wood.
I picked up wave 1 and the Venger/DM set. These are not great action figures, they feel flimsy, they are an odd size and they cost way too much. However they look fantastic and I've been wanting figures based on the show since the 80s. I also don't expect we'll see an alternative anytime soon and when it's all said and done we'll have the 6 heroes, Uni, Venger and DM for about $200. For my purposes and sensibilities, that's a complete shelf at a not awful price. Far from perfect, for sure, but they will make for a great looking display. Venger is both my most and least liked figure. I can't stop looking at him, he looks exactly how I'd want him to look! He's big and intimidating and looks like he stepped off the screen! Unfortunately his legs are 100% useless as are his shoulders and neck. He could have been a mostly static, 1pc figure with just elbows and wrists and none of the articulation it currently has would be lost and it could have been sold for much less. The line has some issues but water in the desert and all that.
I am going to try and mix these figures with Mythic Legions, the two NECA figures, and some McFarlane figures like Clayface in a display.
