Art on Deviantart is notorious for being very weird, sexual, and fetishized, like the Arcee vore foot fetish stuff I found yesterday which I'm not showing because it would get me banned.

 

Why did optimus turn grey when he died in the 86 movie?
(Maybe he was actually gray the whole time and was just wearing red white and blue "electric paint" to look cooler?)

That's actually sick!

 

It implies that their colors aren't paint but are created by their life force and it goes away when they die, so I go with that.

No. It looks better than 95% of all modern transformers designs IMO.

 

Apart from the head looking vaguishy Arcee-ish, doesn't even look like a transformer. Maybe those guns make up the entire alt mode? Looks more like a Bubblegum Crisis suit.

we need vibrant and streamlined designs again.

 

I quite like it. All I'd change is adding some vehicle kibble here and there.

To show that he actually died. The light in his eyes went out and all the color left his body. The color leaving his body signified the life leaving his body, and to drive home the point to all us kids that saw it that he was dead as hell. They wanted to make sure to kick us in our underdeveloped child nuts by saying, "Hey kids, he's dead as shit!"

Well, it's certainly a good mecha design, but I'm not sure it works so well as a Transformer. Not enough alt mode kibble to indicate it transforms.

yeah, but @Cyberbot8460 is putting this forward as an improvement to that design and it worsens the two main problems I see in canon female transformers: over humanization and shellforming necessary to permit transformation in such a human like figure.

 

I'm going to write a fan fic which I call transformers prime regeneration. And I was wondering if anybody would like to read it, I promise it won't make you cringe like all the tumblr fanfics. Oh and @Cyberbot8460, I love that fan art. Probably the best I've seen. Anymore of those?
