There's an Ebay seller from China (with many good/positive rating) that has MP32 Optimus Primal for a VERY good price. I really want this figure but price from US sellers tend to be a bit expensive. The Chinese seller state in the listing that it is Takara Tomy, but is there a chance that it could be a KO?

Has MP32 been KOed yet?

if you posted the eBay ID of the seller. I'm pretty sure someone can let you know some more information.

The advice I can give is to see what they have sold that has earned positive feedback. If it's other transformers that might be a good sign but if it's a bunch of random goods a bad sign.

I personally like my sellers to have a bit more feedback/trackrecord than that, but the reviews and products look good to me. I might chance it.

I personally have purchased from this seller. Item arrived as described with some minor wear on the item box. I'm not sure if the seller is still shipping items the same way but my item shipped without a box. The item was very well wrapped in thick plastic and had corner protects on but that's all. If I remember correctly shipping took right around 4 weeks as it appears they use a forwarder and thus your item ships(probably by boat) with many other items to the US and once it arrives here the item is then shipped by USPS.

I always try to avoid buying anything from China.

 

On the topic of KO transformers if your never going to sell them having a KO verson isnt that bad i went ahead and brought a KO redalert to see what it was like and to be honest compared to my actualy verson there isnt to many diffrences sometimes there is more to a KO as well, e.g that redalert came with some jackhammers which i thought was nice and the KO actually has a sharper paint job and clearer decals which kinda bugs me lol as i expect takaras ones to be the better then the kos in every way lol

 

I agree that some Ko are even better than the official version, like my mpp10. The important thing is being aware that we're buying a ko and paying the right price. If I want the original and they send me a ko I'd be pissed even if it's better.

 

It's cheap for a reason. Either Ko or factory rejects.

 

I've seen a few around that call them unofficial. Says they're legit Takara Tomy, but straight from the factory and without the mace. Probably some QC issues or something.
