    I wonder if Megatron beat Ratchet because they acknowledge Megatrons strangth or they just wanted to end the episode quickly and they decided fans would buy Megatron beating him in two seconds.

    Ratchet was pretty much like how a human on steroids would be like.

    I did like the synthetic energon giving Ratchet a power-up, but hated the bad attitude it caused him.

    Too bad they didn't show us the scene of Ratchet taking down Breakdown.

    I believe the whole point was to demonstrate Megastron's strength.

    Considering they show Megatron pretty much doing it without any effort and how Optimus is worried about him finding Megatron, yes it is damn obviously showing Megatron is badass. Specially considering they showed Ratchet fighting Knockout, they would have jumped that little fight too if it was for time.

    Ratchet was pretty damn cool with the SynthEN, bitchslapping Bulkhead, saying "HO-AH!", being a jerkass, Jack Bauering a Decepticon Drone, hitting on Arcee, among others.

    BUT Megatron stole his thunder: The dude is punched across the room, quietly checks the blood coming out from his mouth and calmly utters "Alright then."
    He then proceeds to kicking the ever-living shit out of a super-powered Ratchet within three seconds.

    Fun fact: If you look the word "Badass" into the dictionary, You'll find TFP-Megatron's picture.

    Ratchet is BY FAR the best thing in all of TFP for me, next to Megatron. Seeing Ratchet crack Megatron square in tha face...My mouf was wide open..that was SO baddass.

    And quite proper as well...Megatron underestimated him, but ratchet was still no match for the mighty bad guy..

    One of my favorite episodes so far..

    I have no idea what that is... sorry.

    Hopefully we see a flashback with Ratchet in his prime... Dreadwing is coming...
