Will wait for the other set from SXS, hopefully they still plan on doing it.

 

I was kicking myself for making my own belt after seeing this got announced but aside from the price point my main problem with this set is that he just doesn't look fat at all. The armor hangs off of him the furthest outwards around his chest area while it needs to be more around the actual belly. The pouches are supposed to create the look of his belly being bigger but they're so small that nothing really changes.

 

Agreed. This really needed to look much better if they wanted us to fork out that much and even then it's asking a lot.

Yeah, at least the very least they should should have included a new head. As it is, it's a rip off. I'd rather track down that Scout figure I saw someone use as a belly for Hound and spend the money on that. Even if it's less accurate, you'd be getting a whole other figure.

Wait, another company is possibly doing another set? YES!

Yeah, I would like to see this as well. I could use a link. If there is a way to make a paunch for my Hound, I would like to see it but not from YouTube because my device for internet access apparently has something against it.

I believe I saw a silhouette of another upgrade kit with a more rounded paunch. I want to see more of the other options before dropping $33 on this upgrade kit.

The figure that you can cannibalize to make a hound belly is this one.

however I can't seem to find the image of the custom. It had that chest piece taken, flipped upside down and repainted with some additional belt and pouches added. It looked really good though.

I hope they make one for the Autobots United version (I doubt they'd make one for the TakaraTomy Blu-Ray combo figure, though).
