There's probably a lot of people here that just don't get and looking for validation from critics to tell them their movie is good. But I want to impart some wisdom for you inexperienced folks here and possibility to our friends in the Eastern world.

The mainstream media( news organizations run by corporations ) is out of touch with the American public. While the US Congress is losing its favoriability with the US Citizens, folks here are losing faith in news organizations to tell them truth - which is why a lot of the independent media and the internet in general is becoming a likely source of news and opinions for folks. Why do the general public feels this way about mainstream new sources? because the public believes they have an agenda and live in a bubble surrounded by like minded individuals. I am sure there are many reasons to cite, but overall, don't look for validation from others, follow what you believe and like.

... and quit sucking the mainstream media sack ;)

While I agree, this is going to turn into an extreme, overly-political rant.

There's nothing political about it. Regardless of what your affiliation is the media does not have your best interest in mind.

I'd bet my tickets tonight that this will get political, and eventually locked.

Obviously the answer is you... and everyone else making threads about the critics and reviewers, along with everyone dismissing them as bay haters or insulting their opinions on the movie.

The lame-stream media has been out of touch for a long time. But what does that have to do with Transformers? I thought you would at least be referring the the Rotten Tomatoes critics or something. Not sure what the point of this thread is for once.

That's what makes it so fun!

Welcome, everybody, to "Who's Thread Is It Anyway?", the discussion where everything is made up, and the point doesn't matter.

you do or you wouldn't have made this thread.

if you didn't care you would accept that people can have different opinions from yourself.

i do not fear for the mainstream media, as long as the Kardashians and similar to them have more and more time in the media on a daily basis.
And who cares about the relation between the public and the state, the state can always hire Kim, just to get the voters back.
