In the latest TV spot, Drift looks to be moved back in the shot to be standing more next to OP as his (Drift's) height has changed and is a lot smaller now being next to OP instead of closer to the camera and looking as large as OP.

Also, drift is now standing with his arms crossed instead of at his sides and his helmet looks to been changed a lot?

And there is no Crosshairs in the shot next to Drift either? I'll post the other pic in a new reply. Can't post more than 1 pic per post on my phone.

Maybe Cross hairs is standing more back from the camera.

 

That could be a split second change in the scene though because Prime is looking toward the sky in the first shot, but is more looking down at Cade in the 2nd shot.

To further your point, We've heard the audio from that scene... And we can guess when it might take place. Not a single Dinobot here..

 

Yeah he could be but it shows that they changed the shot here too. Looks to have pulled back the camera for more of a wider shot but rearranged Crosshairs and Drift so they are not so close and put Drift closer to OP.

 

Yeah, I think you're right. And I honestly think Drift's helmet is indeed retractable.

 

I don't think that's a change. Just two different shots of the same scene.

 

That wouldn't explain why the top of his helmet is pointed up. You can clearly see his "spikes" are up and back, as opposed to being just straight up towards the sky.

 

Well that is certainly weird. Wonder what the animators are up to now.

This... You can see them walking and switching poses. So is not that theres a change.

 

I don't know, but Drift's helmet looks way too different in the second picture from the first picture. That can't be from just a turn of the head in my opinion.

 

You can obviously tell its going to be one of those panorama turning shots because the background is even changing. Building placement and all. But you can clearly see they adjusted Drifts location in the 2 shots.

I think this will end up being much like the scene in DOTF where OP went into this decepticon spinning death god mode.

The first time nelson showed us an early shot of that scene, there were 2 Brawl-like con in the shot when OP flew in. One was green and the other was tan. Then in the final shot in the movie, the tan one was pulled way up in the shot and the green one was no longer there.

I think that it is a continuation of the last shot. like it goes from the old shot, pans over a bit and we have the shot we have now. Drift probably flips his mask/helmet up and folds his arms and the camera rotates around so crosshairs is out of view.

 

Well, looks like we all were wrong about Drift's mask being retractable.

Looking at it there, it looks like the actual helmet may be gone? Maybe like how Sentinel Primes helmet was kicked off in DOTF. The head designs are just too different there. Or the mask and helmet is like Bees and it's just a battle mask and does retract as shown here.

 

What do you mean? Wrong as in its not retractable or wrong as in it is?
