    Oddly enough, they were my first comics. Though many were not pleased with DW overall. It was a welcomed refresher for me as it gave me an interesting insight on (possible) things going on after G1 (seasons 1 & 2) took place. I loved how in one of the comics
    one of the men that captured Megatron and reprogrammed him for obedience, orders Megs around (and he does it) till the man asks Megs to kneel. Megatron just stood there, defiantly.

    The War Within series was decent and I see many of the plots from this War Within comic as the inspirations for several themes in the WfC/FoC games (mind you, not 100% accurate, just "inspired"). The ones I found more lackluster was the Armada series.

    Dreamwave had great art. But I do not feel any remorse that they are no longer around.

    The house style was a real bone headed decision on Lee's part. Who wants Transformers to always be fat and buff robots?
