As you all know, Dreadwing gun SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!! So right when I took him out of the package, I started to modify his gun. It seems I was thinking too hard to fix it and then I figured it out. This mod requires you to cannibalize Voyager Megatron's gun BTW. There is a gear inside of Megatron's gun that activates the non-working LED gimmick. You have to take it out and use scissors or a knife to cut down the hole in it. When you have it at the desired size, just attach it to the gun's handle and your ready to go.

 

That's a pretty ingenious idea. It would also allow one to remove that big block on the rear, getting rid of some unneeded bulk. If my local stores ever get their act together and update their shelves, I'll definitely be doing this =)
