The purpose of the tubes and machines are to keep someone alive, though.
Starscream outright said Dreadwing was "pushing up lugnuts," so I'm pretty sure the Cons confirmed it afterwards. Plus, it was just said that Tony Todd stated at a convention that Dreadwing was going to get axed. (which is surprising, I didn't hear about that at all)
Dreadwing was one of my favorite characters on the show, and now... *sigh*
Why would Megatron let Dreadwing be on life support when he disobeyed him and betrayed their cause.
He's DEAD, move on people.
When a character dies on the Nemesis that usually means they are dead. Nowhere for their body to go other than wherever dead bodies are thrown in the ship. Unless Knock Out plans to experiment on them or something.
Dreadwing disobeyed Megatron once before and Megatron therefore granted him life. Starscream betrayed Megatron multiple times and Megatron still hasn't destroyed him.
But it would've been cool if Dreadwing get reformated and reborn as a new Autobot. But we all know that won't happen.
If Megatron put him on life support then Starscream wouldn't have said he was dead
Seriously what are they going to do with Breakdown's body since they still have that in their possession.
His hole didn't go all the way through.
...Oh god why?
Moral of the story: Don't get attached to the Decepticons. The writers are probably being forced (this is MY opinion) to kill them off, since Hasbro believes that only the good guys are likeable (and sell better in stores).
SO many cool Decepticons were wasted in this cartoon. Yet Bumblebee and Arcee will NEVER die. -_-
Wait... so is that what he meant when "our time with this iteration is over" (paraphrasing, obviously)? Jefferey Combs was at that convention too, does that mean...?
Naw. They wouldn't.
Perhaps we're soon getting a sequel series that continues the continuity but is written by better writers. Basically Ben 10 Omniverse to Ben 10 Ultimate Alien.
THIS! For crying out loud.
The base does get destroyed next episode, Ratchet was in the base.
And if he left to go get the kids, and the 'cons have the kids...
'Course he would. Because he figures that the damage to Dreadwing's body is too severe so he is POSITIVE that DW will never wake up again.
I have to agree here. I wanted to see more of Dreadwing and see him become a Dinobot kind of character, eventually dying honorably. But, I also see that his death was predictable, and even confirmed by his voice actor--everyone should've seen it coming. Characters people like die--we need to move on. No matter how...pointless it was.
He would know that Megatron did that though.
With all the clamoring for more character deaths in this forum, you'd think the death of a major character would have some members dancing in the streets...
That was the base?
I thought that was the 'cons warship?
*goes to rewatch the promo*
Holy shit it is the base (the ship was just flying above).
