Well...unlike my other theard this as nothing to do than my brother or someone bein' female and stuff...just to get out of my system. Well....who do you think is the leader of the Dreads?That's all really...'cause no one has told us who's the leader and such.

I'd say crowbar and crankcase cos in the mxican standoff scene they were confiring with one another as if one didn't want to make the decisions over the other , I could be wrong but that's how it looked to me
If they have one, it has to be either Crankcase or Crowbar. Both have a rank of eight, according to the resources. I'd say they don't have a leader. Considering it's really a pair of Decepticons and their dog, I imagine that Crankcase and Crowbar work together as equals, and Hatchet is really the only one who actually gets ordered around in the group.
Why must every subgroup have to have a leader? They have no leader, they are three, possibly more dudes with funny hair who run around and break shit. I always thought it was dumb that so many sub groups in TFs have their own leaders, and they almost never lead much more than just repeating whatever Optimus/Megatron says.
Thank you. On topic, I know that Hatchet is just the Dreads' war dog. But something inside me says Crankcase is the leader of the Dreads.
For some reason, I thought this too, for the toys (and film sorta). If not leader, he has some kind of relation with them. I keep having this feeling that maybe he was once a Dread or something.
I say Crowbar is the leader, mostly for 3 reasons: When they were chasing the Autobots on car mode, Crowbar was in the middle and he was a little bit ahead from the other Dreads. He is the first to transform, and he throws down the highway sign so the other Dreads can transform. He is the biggest of the Dreads, and he looks bulkier and tougher than the others. I voted Crankcase also because he does seem like another possibility.
