since DragonCon isn't a Transformers convention per se I hope that this is the right forum.

Is anyone else on here going? I know that it's tough what with botcon happening later the same month, but I still wanted to see if I could look anyone up from here once I get there.

My friend is friends with the Killer Robots and they've just been anounced to be playing the con and putting on a show. If you haven't heard of them check out www.abnormalfuncomics.com . I've seen them, drank with them, even helped out with the videos used at their shows and they're a blast. They kind of remind me of Devo. Anyhoo, if you're going please post.

We might be having a room party at some point, this is a 24/7 dork fest so why the heck not.

I'm going in costume for the first time ever. If you see Walter Sobchak (from the Big Lebowski) odds are that it's me, and if you see the Flaming Carrot, that's my friend Clark.

I hope to see some of you there.

 

I'll be there. last year was actualy the first time I didn't go in 7 years (went to comic con instead) I will not be dressed up as any thing and for the first two days I'll mostly be in the dealers room

Saturday @ midnight in the Regency Ballroom is when the Killer Robots will be performing and I'll definitely be there.

I'm gonna be all over the place at the DC. This is my 2nd year going, but my friends have been 4 or 5 times. I also plan on wearing my mexican wrestling mask around and getting very very drunk. We refer to DragonCon as DorkFest, and oh what a festival it is for us.

So in summation, if you see either Walter Sobchak or a drunken mexican wrestler, please say hi  

 

I may go if I'm there for work. I travel to Atlanta often and I might have to see if I can swing a trip for that week and then stay through the weekend.

There's going to be more B-D list celebs, writers, and comic folks there than you could shake a stick at if that helps to sway you: Lavar Burton, Dean Stockwell, Ray Park, Kevin Sorbo, Lorenzo Lamas, the Weasly twins from the Harry Potter movies, Jason Vorhee's mom, and the original Wednesday & Pugsly Adams are scheduled to be there this year just to name (a little bit more than) a few.

 

I had considered going, I wanted to see the Cobra 21st Infantry march in the parade. But ONCE again, that wont be happening.

so if anyone can get me some pictures of the parade. I would like that allot.

 

I'll see what I can do for you ginrai, I missed the parade the 1st time I went due to hangover, but I am planning on seeing it this year.
