Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero Star Gushes Over Piccolo's Big Role Mamoru Miyano is more excited to see Piccolo in action than he is for his own character of Gamma 2. Miyano said it was a dream come true to meet the character's voice actor Toshio Furukawa. According to the feature, Miyano went on to say Piccolo has some "great fight scenes" in Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, and to praise Furukawa for his vocal work on those fight sequences.
God I hope we get a subbed theatrical run over here for once. Thankfully we're in an era where the dub is always solid, but I wanna hear Nozawa screaming on the big screen again! I say again because I was able to see the Hollywood premier of Resurrection F, which was subbed.
Pretty sure we'll get a subbed release. They did a dual release for Battle of Gods, Resurrection F and Broly. I don't see why this wouldn't be the same.
I'd rather it not be Cell. They already brought back Frieza. If all the Super Era of Dragon Ball becomes known for is bringing back old villains or recycling old plots (Moro: Stop me if you've heard this before - ancient sealed evil wishes to regain his youth to restore the prime of his power. He also feeds on other living beings to get stronger. He absorbs another antagonist to take on a stronger form. Huh, kind of seems like he's just King Piccolo, Cell, and Buu rolled into a goat shaped package...), then I'm not sure what Super is really accomplishing as a series - what it's adding to the franchise.
I have my good fill of Perfect Cell with the DevilArtemis videos where he hangs out with Kermit the Frog and curses a lot.
It's not, but I expect Toriyama wants Super to lead into a redo of it. I know he wasn't super happy with how it all turned out.
Regardless of what Super is leading into, all I want is for Pan to be relevant. I know this will always be the "Goku and Vegeta Show, Guest Starring Z Fighters," but Pan deserves better than what she got from GT.
If they continue upping the ages, I wouldn't mind seeing more from Bulla too. Maybe they can keep the Material Girl aspect GT went with, but it's be cool if that wasn't her only thing. And for Beerus' sake, let the daughters go Super Saiyan. It's insane GT decided not to do that.
