    I must be the only one NOT digging this new Dragon Ball surge. Return was okay just for nostalgia, Battle of Gods was basically the same thing with a CGI fight playing to some j-pop at the end, the Bardock ova was ridiculously stupid, and Resurrection F looks like the biggest excuse for mindless action scenes ever, even by Dragon Ball standards. And the Namek saga worship that's been in ALL of these new Dragon Ball movies/ovas bothers me personally.

    Well, it looks like it's time to rewatch Dragon Ball and Z since I only watched them when I was very young and only vaguely remember just the Buu saga. So, should I watch the original Dragon Ball Z with all it's filler or Kai instead?

    I watched Dragon Ball mostly when I was 18, 19. So over a decade ago.

    I'm skeptical, honestly. I just don't see what else they could do with the series. I'd rather have a Crystal/Brotherhood/Ultimate adaptation of the manga instead in all honesty.

    I just hope they make it more story based like Battle of Gods was over action like Resurrection F is supposed to be.

    No, there is no point in bothering with the filler. Watch the 150 episodes to Dragon Ball (there is no need to watch the last 3 episodes as it is filler) and then watch Kai. No need to waste your time on one episode per manga chapter episodes and crap like Garlic Jr.

    I rather like GT so I'm sad to see them skip it. I heard rumors that Toriyama wanted to do away with transformations which for me is the best part. Hopefully the newest villain, if the series is like Z, doesn't have regeneration abilities. It was was old with Cell and Buu. If the show is more like original DB I may skip it. It's alright but not my cup of tea.

    DBZ how powerful can Goku get? What color will his hair turn next? DBZ is like most animes it gets to the point where the characters get too powerful to be taken seriously. Much more and their sneeze could destroy a planet. Heck it started the trend.
